Beautifully redecorated interior of a lovely old pub. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the food innovative and delicious. There is an excellent selection of Tasmanian produce ad wines. I first went there in March for a private evening function with set menu and...More

The food and service were fantastic. The prices reflected the standard of both. Don't expect " pub food" prices but there was value in the portions and the style of menu... different but delicious. Try the Pagans cherry cider ..very pleasant on a warmer day....More

This is our second visit to this establishment and unfortunately Sunday's visit was disappointing. We sat in the beer garden as inside was full, that wasn't a problem as the garden is a quiet, relaxing spot to enjoy a drink and a meal. Well, it...More

We stopped in for a casual Saturday lunch. There are several different areas to choose from. The court yard looked inviting, but the weather was not suitable. We chose one of the burgers and home made soup. Both were delicious, served fresh and hot and...More

We had been recommended to visit the pub, following its revamp, by a local friend of ours and were delighted we did. You enter through the unassuming grey door on the street and are greeted by decor that is so reminiscent of a country pub...More

Description
Our menu is ever changing reflecting the wonderful seasonal produce Tasmania and our kitchen garden has to offer. We craft our menu depending on the season and what our local producers and suppliers have on hand. Our food is honest fresh and British Pub style, hearty and warming in Winter and light and fresh in the Summer months.
