Pop in and had a lovely lunch - Nice atmosphere and we were able to get a table without booking. This pub was friendly and the lunch which was a roast turkey dinner was excellent.

The service by the young guy working was good both behind the bar and serving the food. The meals need to be a more presentable very average for a pub. Great window in the dinning area and white chicken in the outside area. Could be a good pub with some work.

Stopped for lunch and enjoyed bangers and mash and a beef pie. Food was basic but fresh and enjoyable. Lots of character (and characters!) in the pub. Cute chickens with chicks roam around the beer garden that looks like it would be very pleasant in warmer weather.

We had a catch up with friends here and found the service and meals to be delightful. The staff were very interactive with our children and their menu was also great.

Love this pub. I go there regularly. Always friendly service. The food is very well priced $15 for a parmy chips and salad. It is a massive plate full of food which i usually cannot finish. It is quiet during the week which i like. But may be best to book on the weekend. During the colder months you get... More

We couldn't go past the $12 meals - sitting by the "pretend" open fire - packed with atmosphere. Great choice of meals

After exploring the spectacular surrounding countryside, we stopped here to enjoy a glass of wine. With the log fire lit in this 1847 built pub, it was time to sit and relax. The service and the locals were friendly. Would like to come back one day and try the food.

First time for lunch. Great historical atmosphere with Tassie history diaramas. Food was average but enough. Apple crumble was just warm. Not top of my list. Silkies in the beer garden!

We went to Clarendon Arms for our daughter's birthday. The waitress (or was she the manager?) was friendly and efficient. The food was great - turkey and roast veg, and the apple crumble with ice cream and custard. No waiting about. There were indeed chooks in the beer garden! The price was very reasonable. I'd go there often if it... More

We ate dinner here on 2 occasions. The meals are large and very good value. They have a nice selection of Tassie wines. We had the battered scallops the fist night and lamb cutlets the next. delicious.
