Get here as quick as you can before everyone else finds out! On sunny day which we had sit outside and enjoy simple local food. The staff were so friendly and well organized. The view of the harbor and the boats coming and going was very entertaining.

This is a great spot for lunch overlooking the marina in Kettering. Cafe looks out over the working harbor, D'Entrecasteaux Channel and Bruny Island. Great coffee and interesting cafe style menu.

Popped in whilst waiting for ferry crossing for a quick snack - great sandwich and coffee. Other foods available.

The Mermaid Cafe is the perfect place to wait for the next ferry to Bruny Island. There's a beautiful marina and lovely scenery to look at as you enjoy a great coffee. We didn't eat there, but seeing and smelling what other people had ordered - it seemed like really good quality meals were being served.

The location by the water was really quite lovely. But the surprise was the quality and taste of the food.

My wife, daughter and I visited for a planned test coffee but rapidly decided on lunch. The cafe has recently been refurbished with a much improved layout. The setting remains ideal overlooking Little Oyster Cove with it's marinas and with views across the D'Entrecasteaux Channel to Bruny Island. One can watch the ferry arriving and departing on it's trips to... More

Good stop off before catching the ferry to Bruny Island. Warm and comfortable, good food and great views of Oyster cove and the channel.

Only got a take away coffee here as it doesn't open until 8.30 on a Sunday and the ferry boards at 8.50am. There would have been 30+ people waiting at the door for it to open. We would have had breakfast had it been opened earlier. It's a lovely spot and obviously very busy at times.
