I must say the price list put me off, especially since so much good fish is available around the local area. The menu is innovative, and the salads are different. I enjoyed my home made pie, salad and coffee, but at $22 it was rather steep. The ambience is very minimalist, but at the same time, I noted how immaculately... More

I'm not sure whether it was because of the public Easter holidays and the usual staff weren't on, but our experience here was less than mediocre here and not reflective of the other reviews on Tripadvisor. It was terribly overpriced, and service was quite slow (there was only 1 waitress serving a fully booked restaurant, and she seemed quite new... More

The meals were good quality but at an averages of $30 per main (I had scallops at $38.00), I was expecting so much more. Eating there on a public holiday also incurs a $2 per person surcharge! The interior décor is soulless and menus on the table rather than on the wall would help the visually challenged.

We stopped here for tea following a recommendation from a local. Great service and yummy food. Very wide menu with top view over the water:)

We visited this great little cafe for the third time and again we were not disappointed. You are always welcomed by smiling, happy staff and the food is fresh and full of flavour. Do your self a favour when nearby and have a meal at Lucky Ducks.

Everything on the menu sounded so good that it took us a while to decide on the quail and crumbed scallops with roasted vegetables. Great food from locally sourced produce.

We had just finished 4 days walking the Three Capes Track and were ravenous. Would have settled for a decent pub meal. Wow! So much better than that. Compact menu, local produce, superb flavours. Their house baked bread among many highlights.

Dropped in for dinner while staying overnight in the area; the restaurant was recommended by our B&B hosts and we were certainly not disappointed. The food was fantastic and fresh - the 24 hour marinated mushrooms are an absolute must-try. Service was top notch, and the sunset views created a great atmosphere. Definitely worth dropping in!

Lucky Ducks was recommended to us by our B&B host. While not much to look at on the outsids, more than made up for it with delicious food and gorgeous ocean views. And lots of ducks :-) Mains average $30 but were filling - we didn't need any extra courses.

We chose to have dinner here based on Tripadvisor comments and we weren't disappointed. Lucky we phoned ahead to book a table for dinner as it was full on a Tuesday night including a large party of 16 celebrating a birthday dinner. Friendly service and efficient despite being full . A great selection of meals to choose from and everything... More
