Decided to include in our itinerary to try the famous scallop pies. Was a bit of a drive. Loved the quaint town of Ross. We all ordered the scallop pie. It was nice but was not expecting to have a bit of curry flavour on on it.

Fairly expensive for what were average pies. Mince pies were very sloppy and hard to eat. Price hike for eating pies at the shop so better to get takeaways and then sit outside.

The pies are not as good as described, average only. But it is a good place to take a break after long drive

Heading north from Richmond when hunger hit! Fortunately, beautiful Ross & it's fabulous Bakery31 were in the right place at the right time. So - what to have ... a scallop pie of course! Have never had one before - OMG, what a taste sensation! And the pies were actually filled with scallops that still had the roe on them.... More

Got to go the scallop pie but could also go so many other things, staff do a great job dealing with the crowds but if you are not after counter service then this may not be the place for you, but I would suggest give it a go you will get a pleasant surprise

Stopped in driving north on the Midlands Highway and diverted to use the town facilities. This made us stop in the town for longer than expected and we were so glad that we did. Had takeaway coffee and pies and pasties from this bakery which were all delicious. The friendly staff and good food made for a great visit to... More

Having walk the beautiful Town of Ross we stopped into Bakery 31 for a bite to eat. Tourist coach had just finished so had minimal wait. The Cornish pastie, party pie, cake and coffee were great. Fresh and excellent taste sitting outside on a beautiful day. Well done. We agreed that this was a very good stop for lunch. 👍👍

We took away the scallop pies, salmon and brie pie, apple turnover and vege and cheese pastie. Bit expensive but worth it. They were so good, both the filling and pastry! I wanted more of the scallop pies.
