The comprehensive new menu is stylish and more importantly most inviting - complemented by some very attentive personnel who efficiently ensured our overall dining experience was nothing but brilliant. Even on a very busy evening, the service was exceptional. Thanks heaps to all concerned for making this venue the "place to be" at the moment. Keep up this great standard.

We were staying at Tall Timbers, and decided to book in at the 'restaurant'. On arrival, I questioned if there was another dining area, other than the bistro. The place was large, full of families and large groups, and our table was right next to the kiddies play area. We politely left the bistro, and ordered from our room instead.... More

The staff were very friendly and our queen room was spacious and clean and had plenty of heating BUT we were there in summer and there was no air conditioning and the room was very stuffy and made it difficult to sleep. They did supply a small fan which was useless in a large room. The other facilities are good.... More

ordered fish and pizzas. The fish was inedible. Tasted really old. The potatoes under the fish, I couldn't get my knife through. Totally raw. Pizzas were only just edible. They did refund fish meal. Waitress was really nice and offered another meal but I didn't want to eat there after that.

We are doing a driving tour of Tasmania, and we found this place as it was advertised in a brochure we had. It is very secluded and peaceful, our room was next to a pond do we saw plenty of ducks. The room was good sized, with a king-size bed. The staff were friendly, and knowledgeable about local things to... More
