Walked from our cottage down the roads to this lovely cafe for coffee and the best almond croissants we've ever tasted. Lovely baker and waitress, so friendly, we were only disappointed they were closed the following day or we would have done an encore!

Went to the Whitehouse Bakery on 5 February - delicious warm fresh bread and a lovely Cornish Pastie. Highly recommend it if you are near Westbury.

Good quality ingredients, cooked well. Bakery favourites like Cornish pasties, sausage rolls, vanilla slice, cream bun, apple turnover and many more made using quality local real food ingredients. No sneaky gmo "bread improver" hidden in the food here, as it is in most bakeries, and the pastry tastes like it's been skillfully made, using real butter and good flour.

Popped in last Friday- Cornish Pasties were AMAZING! Filling and delicious. The brownie slices the kids had disappeared before we have a chance to ask what they were like. The Vanilla slice was slightly over baked giving the bottom pastry a burnt taste- but the pasty made up for it! It is expensive, but worth it!

This is definitely a gem worth seeking out if you love delicious Cornish pasties and amazing vanilla custard slices. We are returning tomorrow on our way to Cradle Mountain!

We called in here on our way between Launceston & Burnie to get lunch after checking trip advisor. This charming 100 year old wood fired bakery is run by Amanda. Amanda is a artisan in European bakery & is friendly & welcoming. It has traditional bread, cakes and the pies are made fresh daily and filled with local produce. The... More

It's a small bakery with about 4 tables inside. But there are quite a few more tables out the front. A lovely little place for a stop while traveling. We had the gourmet pies for lunch, which were the best I've ever had. The pasties looked really good too. I sampled the choc brownie and honestly I've never tasted any... More

What a fantastic little bakery! Great cakes and pies but the real treat is the wonderful bread, my favorite is the gourmet ham and cheese. You must stop by if you are in Westbury or you could like me, take the worth wile trip from Launceston!
