We have been regulars since they opened, 37 years ago. There are "authentic" Mexican restaurants everywhere. Casa Barron's food has much more flavor. Wife says there margaritas are the best anywhere. (Bud Light is pretty good, also)

It's a local place so we've been there a lot over the years but simply for meeting up with friends & area locals. We usually only order appetizers & margis cuz the food really stinks. We've eatten there several times over the years hoping it will get better but there is always something wrong with the food. To begin, it... More

I sat in Casa Barron 50 minutes before my food came. It was a week night, not a weekend. It is the very first Mexican restaurant I have ever been in where they did not give chips and salsa as a complimentary appetizer. The seating was a hard bench with no cushion whatsoever. It was my first and last time... More

Local hot spot in downtown Perrysburg. Very busy on Tuesdays. Taco salad was too huge but very good. Great margaritas.

The food is just so horrible and the service by the rest of the staff is often so poor it's so hard for me to go back. I love the atmosphere though and I try to go back but every time I'm disappointed. They charge you for chips and jarred salsa (which is basic at best/think Gordon Food Service) and... More

Worst Mexican restaurant of my experience- ordered super nachos which arrived cold. tasteless cheese very thinly spread on chips with less than half a teaspoon of ground beef on top. Margaritas with no discernible alcohol content. Will never set foot in this place again. So many other good Mex places near......

The restaurant has been in Perrysburg for decades. It's changed ownership a few times. Currently, the food is inedible. My kids even said the chicken fingers were nasty.

I want to give praise where it's due, and they did not screw up my kids' kraft mac-n-cheese kids' meal. As for the cheese nachos, chicken quesadilla or guac, well, I can't extend the same kudos. It was below average, and the service didn't perform at a level where I could bump them up for trying. Oh, also, Hubs said... More

After taking down our Lions Club booth at Perrysburg's "First Friday" event we were bushed, so I suggested going down the block to Casa Barron's. It is a bar and restaurant serving Mexican fare. Their menu is varied with many of the usual offerings. I had the steak fajitas and my wife had her usual enchiladas. Both dishes were very... More

My husband and I love this restaurant and come uptown at least 2-3 times a month. The food is great and the margaritas are, hands, down, the best in the area. Not only that but they don't put that nasty cilantro in their salsa. We live and breathe this restaurant. The staff is so very friendly.
