The food here is very good. We have been going here for years. Limited seating but worth the wait. Enjoy the atmosphere. Best place for breakfast.

A small great food restaurant in town! Everyone from the mayor, a teacher, priest, or teenage will be found there. Great burgers and a dynamite breakfast the way you like it served daily! Everyone goes and enjoys one of the speciality items! Some items on the menu are even named after people! This diner will not disappoint!

I've been to Jim's Open Kitchen several times and plans to continue, it's very nice and the food is excellent! Go with you parents, sibs, friends or significant other. I promise, ALL will enjoy every bite! The food will please and be approved by all mothers, the price is very fair and reasonable.

If you're into hole-in-the-wall diners, then you'll enjoy Jim's Open Kitchen. This is always a great work lunch spot. Quick service and the food satisfies a craving for a classic American diner burger. Or, head in for breakfast and get a Herb Nelson. They make great pancakes too! I don't think food prices have changed since the early 2000s. Get... More

Met customers here for breakfast. Excellent small town classic American diner breakfast. Heads up; cash only. Eating here took me back to eating with my grandparents as a kid. Breakfast was great.

We decided to go to Jim's Open Kitchen for breakfast. Were told it is a well loved instituation in Solon. Perhaps it's the kitsch that makes it so; it certainly can't be the food. The place is very small and smells of an old greasy diner, which it is. Minimal booths and more counter seats. The girl who asked about... More

Jim's in Solon is one of my favorite places for breakfast and or lunch in the Cleveland market. Small and quaint, it leaves you with the sense that whatever you order in this place, the food is going to come quick and be incredibly tastey. i usually try and eat at Jim's at least 1-2 every couple of weeks. My... More
