Coltrane Cafe is a storefront restaurant with a full menu. It seems to be heavily frequented by locals which is a plus. Parking is limited but it is easy to get in and out of the lot. Standard food, good service, plenty of coffee. I enjoyed not having breakfast again at a national chain.

Food was average. Service was slow but friendly. This is a typical small business diner with comfort food. Prices are affordable. Waited over 1 hr for 2 omelets. Not worth it if you can make it at home. Hash Browns were mushy.

Wow, just happened on this place and was pleasantly surprised. Coffee and food was exceptional. We will be back next year and plan to make it our morning breakfast stop.

We got off I-35, looking for lunch, while traveling Texas to Minnesota. Along a business thoroughfare we found the Coltrane Diner, a hole in the wall of a strip mall between a grocery store and a gas station. It has salmon walls over chair rail paneling. The crowd seemed to be friendly local regulars. Our waitress was friendly. We enjoyed... More

Not real crowded for breakfast or lunch, but outstanding for both. My favorite lunch is the chicken fried chicken. It's just like grandma made it. Comes with three sides which at first seems like too much, but the helpings are small so it's just right. Destiny was out waitress and provided great service. I will definitely return here again. Apparently... More

We come here often for the home cooking. It's got a great small town feel where you feel like family after a couple of visits. Order from the menu or even better, from the specials listed on the wall-sized chalkboard. Pick an entre and three sides, then save room for some homemade pie. The delicious food comes out in right-sized... More

In a city filled with chain restaurants, the Coltrane Cafe is like a breath of fresh air. It's family owned and operated. The name has been changed to Virginia's Cozy Cafe but the sign still says Coltrane Cafe. The food is very good, prices are reasonable, the decor is a western theme and the staff is friendly. Try it, you'll like... More

Haven't been there in quite a while, but it's a great lunchonette. Also has farm style breakfast. Service is friendly and delivered in a timely manner. Very friendly folks.

We recently visited Oklahoma City and were in the Edmond area one morning, deciding to take our morning breakfast at this small local restaurant found just off Coltrane Road on 2nd Street. Both of our breakfasts weren't great but generally ok. Had much better breakfasts at a Jimmy's Egg in OKC and the Staybridge Suites hotel lobby during this trip.... More
