Very old diner in El Reno not too far off of Interstate 40. Breakfast is simple you get bacon and eggs or sausage and eggs for $6.50. There is no menu. Service is fast and friendly, you may get in on a conversation with some local patrons. Breakfast was very good.

One of El Reno's iconic onion burger joints. Wonderful burgers grilled before your eyes, and hand cut fries.

I was hesitant to open the door at Robert's Grill - there was an abandoned truck parked nearby and the building looked a mite seedy. But once I opened the door I was happy I had. A few friendly faces were inside and it smelled heavenly. It is quite small - a counter, a dozen stools, a griddle, and cold... More

I was in El Reno, Oklahoma -- a delightful town west of OKC -- and asked for a recommendation. Everyone said 'Go to Robert's Grill'. I did and was so Glad. Their version of the onion burger is simple and tasty. The onions are plentiful, the ground meat is fresh, and you sit on bar stools from the 1950's to... More

Dropped in after a referral from a local. Place is small, cramped and is showing its age but the food is good and you won't leave hungry. The menu is simple and posted on the wall. There is a long bar to sit at or take your meal to go. The two guys working were very nice and the service... More

If looking for the best tasting fried onion burger this is your place. Stool seating is limited so don't be surprised if you have to wait a bit.

A good friend recommended Robert's Grill. It's definitely "old school" and the grill is certainly seasoned, no doubt. Ordered the double cheeseburger with onions. The patties were decent size and it tasted like real beef. Did not get much of the cheese infusion that you would expect from a double cheeseburger but good nonetheless. The seating was at the counter... More

One of the best Fried Onion Burgers is served here. It has an a classic feel to the place with a very friendly staff. Don't forget the coney slaw dog and be sure to add chili. Recommend you share the basket of fries. Enjoy every bite with a smile!

I have eating here more times then i want to think about. This place has been here forever and there's a good reason why: the onion burgers are the best. Other places are good, but they don't compare. The coney especially are great. Breakfast is the best place in town for breakfast.

We stopped at Robert's as a part of our road trip to the Grand Canyon and stopping at as many historic Route 66 diners and attractions we could find. The food was great, the grill cook was a delightful conversationalist and proud to be cooking at Robert's. If you are put off by less than modern facilities and can't get... More
