I've had breakfast twice now at Rooster's. I live a little ways off, but after my first experience, I wanted to bring my family by, and they were equally impressed. Rooster's is definitely the definition of a country cafe or diner. From what I've seen it stays really busy, but is a big enough location that it doesn't feel too... More

I've eaten there numerous times and normally it's tolerable. However, the last time they brought bacon that was raw enough that it was unsafe to eat. The eggs were burnt and the hash browns were still completely white. New cook?!?!?

I went to lunch at Roosters with some business colleagues. One of the group suggested we eat there. As another reviewer stated, it's not fancy or even immaculate cleanliness wise. But boy it did not disappoint food wise. We all had the chicken fried steak and it was great. Enormous too. I mean huge. It comes with two sides and... More

This is the real deal. A friendly country diner with low prices and excellent down home cooking. Very locals oriented. Worth getting off the beaten path and enjoying a good meal at a fair price.

Not bad little place tucked away in a small shopping center. We ordered a catfish dinner and the chicken fried chicken which we shared between us. The catfish is filet style rather than nuggets and was quite good. The two hush puppies that came with the catfish came from a bag and were doughy. The okra also came from a... More

It depends on who is cooking and what time of day it is. This is a nice place to meet friends to visit and is a local spot for friends. Not so good on the food.

If you don't mind driving to Jones, OK, and sitting at mismatched tables with holey vinyl table clothes, you'll be in for a real down home treat at Roosters Cafe. The breakfast is as good or better than grandma could make, the chicken fried steak is wonderful and falls over the sides of your plate. Our favorite is the fried... More

What the cleanliness and service lacked the sold food made up for! Catfish was really good, really good, The country fried steak was the winner. Definitely done right. Flies and more flies would be the drawback as well as not so good french fries. Service was friendly but not attentive as drinks went unrefilled. If they had been busier we... More

Three of us went on a Friday evening to see if their Catfish special was as good as some friends had said it was. IT WAS. This is strickly a country cafe with few decorations. However, the friendly nature of the staff and the quality of the food make up for what is lacking in big city ambience. All of... More
