A friend and I ate here on Thursday, Feb. 23 around 3 pm. The place wasn't too busy, just a few tables of people. We both had the Meersburgers with fries and RC. Our waitress, Hannah (I believe), was very attentive and nice. She was very apologetic when she told us the Meers beers we wanted weren't cold yet. Hannah... More

A famous & popular old joint that is in the middle of nowhere...This place is a well maintained dump...famous for large burgers (that's the only thing we order)...the big thing here is just experiencing the tradition...but the cobbler & old homemade style ice cream is worth the trip...keep expectations low & you won't be disappointed

Very Unique experience! Loved the rustic nature of the restaurant. However, I was a little disappointed in the food although my wife enjoyed hers. I have had hamburgers that are far superior and the onion rings were the frozen variety. Very overpriced when you consider our total bill, including tip, was about $50 for lunch and without any dessert. Very... More

We stopped here after a visit at the Wildlife refuge in the Wichita Mountains. The location is the typical Oklahoma standard so don't expect a luxury restaurant but the food was awesome. Very big plates and enormous amount of ingredients. I cannot believe someone after the biggest hamburger I have ever eaten could have enough room for the cobble (ice... More

Just left this place and I'm pretty disgusted. The website says clearly they are open until 830pm on Monday. So we drive all the way out to Meers and arrive there a little after 730. It's locked up like FT Knox but the side door is open so we walk in and the lady says 'we are closed'. So I... More

This place should be a required stop when visiting the wildlife reserve. Awesome burgers and the best Texas toothpicks I've ever had.

We have been going to the Meers store since the 90's but we will never set foot in the store again. First off- We are very aware of how busy this place can get and we appreciate the hard work the wait staff does but what we experienced this time was beyond belief. For the first time since we have... More

On New Year's Day my husband and I drove to Medicine Park from OKC. We parked the car and headed out of town on our bikes for a 9 mile ride to Meers and the Meers Store & Restaurant. It seems to be the only building in Meers. The out side looks like a cobbled together store front from the... More

Had heard about Meers my entire life and decided to travel off the path and find it while in Lawton. Arrived around 3 on Friday afternoon. No wait. Seat yourself. Waitress Bekah was there in seconds. We ordered the 16 oz burger to share, along with fried green tomatoes and onion rings. I got a Meers beer (22 oz)! Food... More

The burgers are really good but the cobbler and homemade icecream are to die for. Very reasonably priced for the food you get.

Thank Johnny S
