The Rock Cafe is definitely unique. I enjoyed the German food options. I usually love fried pickles. The Rock Cafe's fried pickles are different in that the pickle slice is super thin which makes these more like chips than what I think of for fried pickles. But my family enjoyed them. I ordered the jagerschnitzel. I found it to have... More
This is an amazing place with lots of history. It's like a step back in time. The food is good, and the waitresses are very attentive.
This place needs to be started over with all new staff or train the ones they have. 40 minutes to serve a burger And a salad that were poor quality puts this place on my list of places to avoid.
Doing the Route 66 trek to Arizona, we saw good reviews on the Rock Cafe in Stroud, OK. Patrons get to sign their names on the wall as you enter. They also pass around a book you can sign in & also see where people are from that come to the area. The waitresses were very friendly. After a bad... More
The service was poor, had a chiefs salad they forgot the eggs and it had little iceberg lettuce. The hamburger was fair but overall the service and food was far worse than in the past.
Have been here quite a few times, hamburger and French fries and ice tea every time. Always good. Others had cheese burgers, some with fried okra. They also enjoyed the food and had been there before. If you are a route 66 traveler this is a 'don't miss it' kind of place - been there for years and has a... More
Here for lunch mid-week, had read the reviews on Trip Advisor. Had the Chicken Fried Steak, Mash Potatoes, and Okra. The Steak was good -- not great. The Okra were hard fried which I did enjoy. The potatoes were made from scratch. Also at our table: bowl of chili with beans served with corn bread. Had good flavor. Also Meat... More
We weren't impressed at first with the parking lot and building, but ended up enjoying the experience. It's all a part of Route 66 history so we just took it in. Small town USA. We had the chicken fried steak with mash potatoes (white or brown gravy) and fried okra. Oklahoma's favorite meal! It was very good and the service... More
There were nine of us and I text them the day before to let them know we would be there about 2-230. When we arrived they had our table all set up and ready to go for us. We all got something different from the menu. No one had anything bad to say about their food at all. It was... More

Hi. I just saw this question. Did you make it into cafe? On the weekends, it can be harder to have an official meeting inside the small cafe.
