As long as you're there with friends you can take your time and enjoy the atmosphere and wines or beers. However, when there alone it seems to take forever.

If you are looking for a healthful fare & enjoy local wine and beer, try this lovely little get-away in the heart of Baker City! The Salads are yummy (try the raspberry vinaigrette dressing,) desserts are decadent and are good sized portions, enough to share~ Even the sandwiches off the panini press are tasty & different! Staff is willing to... More

Staff were friendly but poorly trained and working with home vs. commercial equipment in the kitchen. We waited over an hour for our food from the time we ordered, even though the restaurant only holds about 8 tables. Pizza was excellent.

The friendly server wasn't the most attentive but she got the job done. The food was pretty plain and boring for such as "trendy" looking setting. The Thai chicken wrap was basically chicken salad in a herbed tortilla. No flavor just a knotch below Subway. The brie appetizer was cold sliced apples (good), small crouton chunks of overtoasted bread (leftover... More

The Earth and Vine offers a quiet place to relax and savior good wine and great food after a day of travel. The menu is interesting and our food was superbly prepared, fresh and locally sourced. We received good value, though service can be slow.

This little eatery offers an interesting menu plus daily specials. Food is fresh and locally sourced. Try the specials as they have never disappointed. Pair with a fine wine (there are many to chose from) or a craft beer.

We stopped here for a quick drink and were very pleasantly surprised by what we found. There are not many classy places in Baker but this place is an exception to that. There is a substantial wine menu to choose from. We had a great bottle of Malbec red. Just what the doctor ordered. We only had cheese and bar... More

I wish you guys the best of luck. But please meet us halfway and have at least two servers working. Your place looks nice and welcoming, and it's great that you're hosting local artists and musicians. When we came, we enjoyed the guitar - vocals duo (not too loud, thank you). They had a following, good for your business. But... More

Went 2 weeks ago with a neighbor to have a brew and a sandwich. Little pricey but good. Service was waaaaaaaaaaay slow. Almost 30 mins to get my order and 15 mins to get a beer. Prolly will skip this place in the future..Not bad, just not worth the wait.
