Absolutely wonderful, fresh, authentic food. Great, fast service and reasonable prices. The new owners have turned this restaurant into a place we will enjoy again and again!

New owners. New interior. Authentic Chinese food with original dishes like scallops with avocado sauce. The owners are the cook and wait staff. Friendly and helpful. I have some food sensitivities and the cook talked with me and he found something I would enjoy. I had shrimp and vegetables in a garlic sauce. Tasty. A bright spot for fresh food... More

Well, finally Baker City has a GREAT Chinese restaurant! New owners, Ray & Ling, bring it! They sold their restaurant in Waldport, which was awesome, and took over the Rising Sun. What a delight! Two of the sweetest people who'll ever meet and what cooks!!! Had the Triple special low-mien and it was first-class. The wife had the honey-walnut prawns... More

The lunch was very good at a reasonable price. Nothing special but a good place for price, quality and serving size.

Not the best Chinese food I have had but good and portions that will make you smile if you have a healthy appetite. Throw in one of nicest and best servers ever and I am a happy camper. This place is dated but clean and we very much enjoyed our dining experience. We will be back!

First review ever, which tells you how bad this was. I have eaten here before and was satisfied but something has happened to this place. Our chicken was freezing cold on the inside (obviously previously frozen) and only 5 small pieces! Then my sons egg roll had a grey hair on it and the rice tasted like day old rice!... More

My Mom and i stopped in for lunch and could not have had a better meal. It was absolutely delicious. So much better than any Chinese food i have ever had. And our waitress Linda was very nice. We will definitely be back.

Worst eggrolls ever..tasted like old grease. They need to change the oil more often here..and turn the hot water on in the ladies bathroom...on the plus side...the hot tea was great ..everything else. Not so much..coukdnt get the taste of that eggroll out of my mouth..think Ill go get a happy meal from across the street..:p

I guess I'm spoiled to the coastal Chinese restaurants. The first time in was very good, the staff is very friendly. The second time in the food was greasy and bland. The chef was outside hacking up a lung and the back of the restaurant is in disrepair. Kind of nasty looking.
