The best of what a small town, "local" café offers at breakfast. Great food: pancakes, hash browns, bacon and eggs and coffee. Wife did ham steak and poached eggs. Gentleman at neighboring table had Biscuits and Gravy with hash browns. Went there twice on our 5 day visit. Served promptly, order and food. 2nd best ever. Best is Somers Bay... More

Good portions. I've only had breakfast here and it is always very good. Old town is an interesting and casual place and the Minute Cafe fits in there perfectly.

I have been here a number of times before for breakfast and found them to be quite good. This time I had lunch and it was awful. Order calamari strips which came with fries and coleslaw. The calamari was cooked to shoe-leather consistency and the fries were dried out and chewy. Slaw was pretty good. The wait staff was poorly... More

Went in for breakfast at 8:50 AM and sat at counter thinking we would get quick service, WRONG!! Took awhile to get cup of coffee and order, then the wait started. Our waitress Erica, passed us by several times with our glass see through coffee cups empty, had to ask for refill. After 30 minutes and seeing others who arrived... More

Clam Chowder bread bowl was wonderful and very good price. Waitress reasonably friendly BUT the signs on the wall all around warn that they're ready for trouble??

This is a homey, quaint place that has basic good food that would be a great fit for a family breakfast/lunch. Nothing fancy, just good home cooking.

We enjoyed our breakfast at this local spot. I had the crepes (4, asked for and got 2 blueberry 2 cranberry)..... excellent!! My wife had the bacon and eggs, which was also great.

Unpretentious, simple interior, but don't be fooled. The breakfasts are exceptional, the soups creative and made daily, and the sandwiches above average. Save room for the home made pie, especially the Marionberry.

We had to wait for a table so we thought it must be good, and it was filled with several locals, usually a good sign. But our breakfast came while there were still some dirty dishes on it from the last customer. Ick. We didn't order anything fancy but everything seemed rather cool and undercooked. The coffee was the typical... More
