Smaller than the huge Uwajimaya in Seattle (my favorite NW store) but well stocked with almost anything you'd need for Japanese + meals. The store has book section and other gift, household and sundries sections. When you're done shopping or just because, this is a good stop for Hawaiian food as well. Spam musubi, portuguese sausage, eggs and rice, manapua... More

The selection of food here is amazing. My husband is Japanese and loves this store more than anywhere else. They have incredible selection of sashimi that is always so good too. The only downfall is the pricing, which seems steep to me. About double the price in Japan for the same things.

We shop here a lot and find most of what we want but think they need to decrease the ratio of frozen fish to fresh! We have had the pleasure of having Nikki check us out twice-she is amazing and should get 10 gold stars and a bonus for her efficiency and charm! Go for it and Happy New Year... More

Unfortunately Anzen closed after 109 years in business. I guess they deserved to retire it's just hard for me to grasp closing down a viable business. It was much closer to my home. However Uwajimaya is a MUCH better store that has food and a noodle shop next door. Thankfully I also discovered they have Amazon delivery now for when... More

Great tea selection, wonderful soba noodles and all the spices and sauces you need to create any Japanese menu. Fish department is fun, big tanks with live seafood, deli has food to go and many items like pork buns and sushi to take home for a meal. Wonderful assortment of fruits and vegetables like specialty mushrooms and litchis in season.

We stop here everytime we visit Beaverton and Portland, Oregon. So happy that a Uwajimaya opened in Oregon. Uwajimaya has the best Pork buns that we eat right on site. I love shopping for sake, dishes and cooking items. Incredible seafood case and we go up and down every isle to shop for food supplies. This market is certainly a... More

I love to go here for basics for Asian cooking. Sticky Rice, hoisen sauce, fish sauce; are usually less expensive. The delivery is very fun as well. The sushi fish is not inexpensive, however, it is top shelf. They also have a fun assortment of dishware and an interesting book store. Definitely worth a look.

Even if I stop in for soy sauce and a barbecued bun I always wind up with a basketful. So many amazing things, so many new things to try. And the produce is amazing with excellent prices. We drive for over An hour to shop here.

If you love the Asian culture, this is a wonderful place to visit. They have everything from groceries, gifts, books, dishes, plants, and more! ! All items are authentic and represent their homeland. Truly exquisite.
