While staying at Boardman Marina and RV we decided to visit the Sage center and asked the gift shop attendant about food in the area, Her recommendation was the river lodge. We gave her thanks and headed off to dinner along the way we noticed a sign for Mexican food and being originally from AZ now living in WA we... More

While visiting Boardman, we chanced upon this wonderful place. Macarios is bright, beautifully decorated and clean. The menu is extensive and provided one of our best authentic Mexican meals during our recent travels. The proffered tostadas (chips) come with both a typical salsa AND an unusual vegetable laden dipping sauce. We base our judgement of Mexican cuisine on Chiles Rellenos.... More

This was a good - not great Mexican restaurant. The chips and salsa weren't very good, but the dinner was enjoyable. The people were pleasant and the service was good.

New name - as noted by others. Food is solid - several meals in the last few weeks, enjoyed the shrimp dishes especially. Staff is really great and will bend over backwards to help you out with special requests.

Still good food for this little town, had the carne asada, had good flavor, they have two salsa to mic together and that was good.

I stopped by Macario's (the name has changed) last week for a quick lunch. I had the lunch special, which was two enchiladas and a taco. This is your classic, big-plate Mexican food restaurant. Definitely a quality stop.

We love mexican food and a friend recommended this restaurant, so we had to try it on our way down the Columbia River. We were the only diners at 7 pm on a Friday night, which is often a bad sign, but surprise, the food was good and plentiful, the staff was attentive and the prices very reasonable. There were... Passing through Boardman, we stopped by the little hole in the wall, barely noticeable mexican restaurant in the lower level of a motel of sorts. It's not the first time we've eaten there - it's one of the few places around. We had a great meal! We had a chile relleno and enchilada plate, and a tostado deluxe. The food was... More

First keep in mind the name has changed to Macarios. Its been just over two years since I last dined at Macarios and I was pleasantly surprised. They have apparently upped their game since my last visit. The menu had all the usual stuff, but now included many new dishes. The Carne Asada plate looked especially good so I gave... More
