This is my special occasion place. Not that I couldn't eat here more, but I don't go to restaurants often. I am picky about my fried oysters and this place can't be beat. I have eaten with large groups and everyone leaves happy.

We are locals and while the restaurant is not what I think of as a cafe, I guess she likes the name. The food is more gourmet and the prices reflect that. The service is very good and they have lovely pastries. The inside looks...More
Ignore the humble exterior - go ahead and walk in... Clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. One of the nicest Chef Salad's I have had along with the Shrimp Salad my wife had left us feeling very satisfied. But... the deserts were even better. Mango Carrot...More

Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately impressed with the atmosphere. The special features were interesting as well. I enjoyed the fried oysters, sea food chowder & an excellent glass of Pinot Gris. The whole experience was excellent.
Café Sheilagh is a gem of a restaurant! My husband and I have eaten there twice - once for breakfast and once for lunch. Both times our meals were prepared with quality ingredients and executed amazingly! Along with the delicious food that is put out,...More
I went with my wife on a Sunday morning. Upon arrival we were greeted and told we could sit wherever we felt comfortable. We both ordered eggs benedict and it was amazing!! I have already made reservations for breakfast on Mother's Day and hope to...More
We had a great time. other friends come for brunch. and suggested we try dinner . the food was expertly prepared and beautifully served with excellent presentation. The meal and wine was very reasonably priced.
This was our second visit here on trips south to Ashland. We had a delicious lunch on both occasions - really a cut above the ordinary. Comfortable, well-appointed atmosphere and very delicious food. This will be a must stop on any 5 south.trip..
