I've lived in Eugene for a very long time, and when Toshi's first opened, I'll admit, I didn't "get it". Because I didn't really like eating cup 'o soup or packaged ramen, I avoided Toshi's, thinking that surely this was exactly the same. How wrong I was! Toshi's first opened in 1999, and is a family owned business. Namesake Toshi... More

Went for first time. No vegetables on any dishes except green onion ....2 slices. Vegetable broth but no tofu for protein. I got white flour ramen noodles, broth and a few bean sprouts that appeared canned....for about $20. I asked to make it to-go. Another $2 for two plastic tubs that don't seal, which tipped over twice in car in... More

This place is just ok. I wouldn't call it bad, I would just say that compared to other ramen I've had it pales in comparison.

First of all, I would like to mention I grew up in Japan so my opinion of the taste might be stricter than those who have not tried ramen regularly. The customer service and friendliness of the cashier was a 5/5. He was very personable and even over heard him helping out customers who knew little about ramen and giving... More

Toshi's is a local favorite. We try to go at least twice a month. Always a line out the door, but seating is not usually a problem. Toshi himself, is usually in the kitchen, and his son is running meals out to patrons. All of the food is great. Go there, and you won't be disappointed.

the person at the counter was very friendly and helpful for this first time visitor. there are a lot of choices, the food was obviously fresh. the spices were nice. my main concern was the salty nature of the food. I saw later there was a low salt option for the sauces. even that will not draw me back considering... More

My son and I came here because we were staying in Eugene and we were both craving ramen. We walked in and the atmosphere was casual and happy. The guy at the counter was very helpful and fun. Lots of good energy here. You order at the counter and can choose your broth and toppings. The ramen itself was good,... More

LOVED Toshi's Ramen. Our 10 year old always ventures outside her normal food palette on vacation. This was a treat! We visited twice in a 2 week period, and both times we were greeted with great customer service, singing employees who enjoyed their jobs. Nothing better on vacation than a fabulous meal, complimented by happy employees. And the gyoza, wow!... More

Sister and brother-in-law introduced us to this quaint little ramen house, and we were impressed. Food is tasty & filling, and doesn't break the bank. Will definitely return next time we're in town visiting!
