Popped in for a Sunday breakfast and had not been in before. Was very happily surprised. Ample ample eats with honest food and fresh choices. Always a nice special or two and highly attentive service with a never empty coffee cup. Near the state park and Columbia River so convenient to several places. Only do breakfast Sat and Sun. Adult... More

We stopped here for lunch during our visit to Fort Stevens. It is located near the north park entrance. Nice lunch menu and very nice staff. I had the clam chowder which was very good - lots of clams - and salad combo. The dessert special was that day was Marionberry cobbler, which my sister order. It was served with... More

Ordered Fish and Chips to go. Restaurant was accommodating to placing to go order. We wanted to eat dinner on the coast near the ship wreck in Fort Steven State Park. Good Sized dinner. Wouldn't want to eat inside-weird to none atmosphere. If you want dinner to go to eat on coast or somewhere near Fort Stevens this is a... More

If you are in need of local seafood or steak at a fair price, you need look no further than Buoy 9. The servers were okay. The chowder and daily soup were both good. My wife had the chicken Caesar salad and I had a soup and salad. The dessert was Marionberry pie a la mode and it was good... More

First of all the staff was terrible she was stand off-ish and rude. She never greeted us or ask what we wanted . There was hardly anyone there at the time so it wasn't busy. ( snobby)She was very quick to leave without a word it seemed like she would rather be doing something else. They do their menu a... More

Buoy 9 is a great stop in Hammond with indoor and outdoor seating on the restaurant side and a great full bar on the other. Food here is excellent and the staff are friendly.

I stopped by this restaurant during a motorcycle trip late on a Friday. It is off the main path of Hwy 101 but close to Fort Stevens State Park. The burger I had was good, the clam chowder was excellent. The wait staff were attentive and friendly. but not buggy. I went back the next morning for breakfast. The meal... More

Seven of us dropped in on them at 5:30 one afternoon. The waitress was friendly and accommodating. Everyone was pleased with their meal and spoke highly of the halibut and cod fish and chips and the great clam chowder. I ordered a full-size crab louie salad and took half of it back to the RV.

Had two lunches at this small, combo restaurant and bar in the small fishing town of Hammond, OR. Tucking into this cozy, wood-paneled establishment for a few meals was a great way to escape the damp and cool October weather on the north coast. The decor is not fancy, but a hot cup of coffee, a crisp green salad, and... More
