We hadn't been to La Provence in Lake Oswego for awhile, and decided to go there for dinner. We were both so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food as well as the great service by Lyndsey and Melaina!! Husband chose the "petite hazelnut...salmon" on a bed of leeks and I had the "lamb rendezvous with rhubarb". We also got the "signature truffle parmesan pommes frites" (AKA delicious french fries with parmesan and other seasonings) which were as good as we remembered them from last time! The fries were VERY good with the aioli dipping sauce that came with them. I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the five lamb chops (or "lollypops" as the server called them because you hold them by the rib bone to eat them!) as they were well prepared and nicely seasoned without being overcooked. This entree also included small roasted potatoes, and vegetables such as green and yellow squash along with onions and peppers. There was also a pesto that went well with the meat. The rhubarb tiny pieces on which the lamb rested were the BEST and were so delicious in their flavorable preparation! I think I would order this entree again just for the lamb and the rhubarb!! OK, don't all of you readers now go out and order this dish and not leave any for ME to order and eat up in the future!!More

Ordered the Pistachio Croissant, Salmon Bowl and Latte. The food is amazing and service excellent. Lot of passion and thought went into the Salmon Bowl. I would recommend and go back again

Great service and staff Great breakfast place, and french bakery. French onion soup, salmon salad, and Bouillabaisse soup. The parking lot was full, but free. Staff were polite and friendly. Great service. The food was wonderful and very fresh. The bakery bread was excellent. Medium...high price but worth it. Good atmosphere and French music.More

The lines can be LONG be the food is very good. I've never had a bad meal here. Just be prepared to wait during peak times. Restaurant next door also serves a great breakfast and isn't as busy.

We had breakfast at this restaurant and really enjoyed it. They said the exit might be 35 minutes but it turned out to be 15 minutes. The staff are friendly and the food is good. It’s not your typical pancake house, in a good way,...a bit more upscale! The pastry is very delicious. We would definitely go back.More

Prior to today we have had good experiences in two other La Provence locations. One of our favorite items from their patisserie are the almond croissants. While we were waiting for our table, I asked one of the bakery staff if there would be enough...of these items available for when we were seated. She showed me a full tray that was still on the metal cart. When our croissants arrived, they were dry and so tough that they could not be cut. We asked our server if we could get replacements. She came back our originals and said that she was told that the croissants were double baked and that was the way they were supposed to be. No offer was made to exchange these items for something else. After our meal I asked to talk to the manager on duty (8/27/23 11:00 am). He was aware of our request and said that they had to throw out a half tray of over baked almond croissants. He said he was sorry and turned away to do something else! Previously we have recommended La Provence to friends and family. We will not be able to the same for the Lake Oswego location.More

Ate at noon on a Thursday. Very loud environment. Waiter was good. Service was fast. Food was good but nothing special. I would not go back because it was so hard to communicate and that was the whole point of getting together.

Stopped in for an early dinner. Restaurant was not crowded and there appeared to be plenty of staff. Restaurant and outdoor dining area were very cute. Server took our orders in a timely manner. Salad and coffee were delivered promptly. While we were waiting for...our entrees, another couple was seated, ordered and received their entrees. We inquired about the status of our entrees, there was no apology or acknowledgement of the extended time that had elapsed. When our entrees arrived, the presentation was lacking. (This was surprising after walking past beautiful desserts in the entry.). My steak, which I specifically asked to be pink, was well done. Server comped my coffee that tasted like it was old. No offer to make anything else right. Thankfully the fruit tart I purchased to take home was beautiful and delicious!More

Great outdoor space and brunch menu. Great service and the salmon hash I had was wonderful. Hopefully there will bring heaters to this great space for the winter.

After consulting TripAdvisor, my husband and I decided to have lunch at La Provence in Lake Oswego on our drive through the Portland area. We were quickly seated at a lovely table on their beautiful patio. I had the La Provence BLT (thick-cut bacon, green...leaf lettuce, sliced tomato, avocado, and a fried egg, stacked together on a freshly baked croissant, and finished with house-made pesto aioli) and it was delicious. But I must say my side of potato salad was surprisingly average. The service was very good. La Provence in Lake Oswego is definitely on our radar for a future visit.More

A pleasant and cute restaurant with friendly staff and great food! The menu has plenty of options, without being overbearing, and so much of it sounds amazing! We had the risotto cakes, the Provence Benedict, and the tuna melt. The risotto cakes were creative and...perfectly fried. The Benedict used a croissant instead of an English muffin, which worked well, and the hollandaise was excellent! The tuna melt was flavorful, juicy on the inside, and crunchy on the outside, just the way it’s supposed to be. The restaurant also has many pastries, cakes, and breads that we did not get to this time, but they look amazing!More
