Delicious meal at Oswego Grill! We both had salads which hit the spot - fresh ingredients and great components. Services was excellent. Before even coming into the restaurant, we watched our server tracking down a prior guest who forgot his phone. We would definitely recommend this establishment and will be back!

Great food ,excellent service, a repeat performance of past dining experience. Actually enjoyed the ambiance, we were able to communicate without shouting, servers were right on time. We will return often!

There for Mothers Day Dinner during our 9 day road trip through Oregon and was a little disappointed. We arrived a little early for our 6:30 reservation and got seated right away but sadly near the kitchen door which was never closed so it was loud. Our server was attentive and awesome with recommendations on entrees and splitting the salad. Our food was delayed due to an overcook on my filet which was communicated by the manager (nice touch), but once it eventually arrived my husbands salmon was luke warm and neither of us could taste the 'grill'. Hubby can cook a more flavorful steak than that at home! The ambiance is typical steakhouse with dark woods and booths. I think the service exceeds the quality of the food there but maybe was an off night due to the busy day (?). We don't expect to go back.

Over the years we have eaten here and at the Beaverton branch. Normally the food is very good and sufficient for take home. The Danish ribs are one of our favorites. Of course, the donuts must be ordered for desert. Tonight, the ribs were as usual, but the tenderloin tips missed the mark. Not only did the kitchen forget the asparagus, but the meat was not tender. I am not a coleslaw person and normally the restaurant will substitute a small side salad. Tonight, the bill for the 1/2 ribs was the same as the full ones. The reason was the”substitution.”. Because this was a surprise, and possibly a new policy the menu should. make sure that “no substitutions” is clear. As usual service was good. We did not find the frestaurant noisy.

This is a fine restaurant, but it is big and noisy, so be warned. I had salmon with a light crust with mash and asparagus and my wife had it miso style with rice and carrots. Bothe were very good. However, the apple crisp dessert was not very good, had a mushy crust. Our friend had shrimp and pasta as I recall. Service was very attentive.

We don't live far from this place, so decided to do lunch when family came. They are a more fine dining location, but prices are not astronomical. Everyone was completely satisfied with their orders. The atmosphere was great to and the help were very friendly! It is better than burgers and fires, but they do have them if you want them. The menu is varied and we can't wait to come again and try something else!

I invited a friend to have lunch with me here at OG, and the food choices we each made were quite good. I had a turkey BLT and the friend had the chopped salad with chicken on top. We enjoyed being able to visit for awhile without a lot of other people close by!

We have dined at the Clackamas Oswego Grill several times, especially enjoying the happy hour. Tonight makes me question whether or not we will dine there again. I don't appreciate having to ask for things more than once. I don't like feeling like we are bothering the server by being there. I don't like having the table cleared while we are still sitting there in a rushed and loud manner. No one ever asked checked in with us while we were eating. We asked for the bill to be split when we ordered arrived and we had to ask for this to be done before we paid; again, feeling like we were a bother. When someone says, "thank you" that should be acknowledged in an appropriate way. Instead, it was never acknowledged at all. Patrons choose to dine at restaurants. I may choose not to come back here again.

We had made reservations to have an early dinner (late lunch) on a Sunday. We should have realized that it was not going to be a pleasant dining experience as when we arrived, the hostess did not acknowledge us coming in as she seemed to be helping another guest. Nonetheless she should have at least acknowledged us and tell us she would be with us shortly. We waited several minutes before a waiter asked if we had been helped; when we said no, she said she would get a hostess to help us. Someone finally did and we got seated; however, we waited at least 10 minutes at our table and no one came by to give us water or tell us about the menu or at least acknowledge our presence. At that point, we just got up and left. We knew our dining experience was not going to be any better and our experience so far wrecked what was supposed to be a nice birthday dinner. I don't know about the food, but the food has been good there in the past. Service appears to have gotten really bad. My son, who works close by this restaurant said his coworkers avoid this place because the service is so poor. I have to believe it now. I would not recommend this place. Service is such an important part of the dining experience that even really good food cannot overcome extremely poor service. I will likely never come here again.

Based on the crowds, this must be a popular spot, although I am at a loss to understand why. We were seated near a large group who, rather than all sitting down at their tables to speak with each other, had an ever-changing small group who stood near our table, speaking loudly and incessantly, and showing each other pictures on their phones. Our server was one of the most inadequate servers we have ever had. She was too busy with the large group and when she came over to our table, it was merely perfunctory. The food was disappointing as well. I had the Northwest Steelhead, which was served with a “parmesan bacon crust”. They should note in the menu that is a very thick crust that overpowers the fish, ruining the taste of what is a mild fish. My wife had the chicken marsala, which was adequate, though certainly not something that she would order again. A one-star bonus to this rating was earned by the manager who took our order as our server couldn’t be bothered to do so, even though we had been sitting there for some time. The noise level was extremely high, not just due to the adjacent group. Ordinarily, I tip 20% (higher for outstanding service, lower (15% to 10%), respectively, for mediocre service to abysmal service). As a new (and heretofore unknown) standard was set for inadequacy and lack of professionalism, a de minimis tip was left.

The burrata cheese did not have a creamy center. We would never have guessed it was burrata. It was heavily salted with coarse rock salt, rendering half of it inedible. My medium rare steak was medium, not even close to medium rare. The waitress debated that it was medium rare, but did ultimately offer to bring another piece if I was willing to wait. We had already waited too long, so I ate it prepared medium, which was disappointing. The meet quality itself was good, tho. The manager came over, looked at the steak and offered to comp it, which was an appropriate offer. The waitress who had told us she would bring a dessert to make up for the poirly prepared steak, then withdrew the dessert offer. That was fine with me…I didn’t want a dessert. I wanted a burrata salad with cheese that had a creamy center that was not overwhelmed by salt and a medium rare steak. And, respectful service.

Absolutely the worst restaurant experience I have ever had! hands down! Saturday 2/11 Family dinner for my birthday - party of 8. I completely understand that it was a busy evening. But there is NO excuse for the things that happened. here are ONLY 3 things (there were others) 1. (THE WORST) my daughter pulled something out of her mouth after taking a bite of her pasta was a coiled-up piece of metal. After pulling it straight, we could see that it was a 2-inch-long piece of Steel Wool. if swallowed this would have cause SERIOUS issues. At this point my grandson (7yo) was afraid to eat any more of his food. 2. my son and his wife ordered pork. It came out raw on the inside. RAW. they sent it back. but when 2nd try came out it was also RAW 9not even warm. it was only seared on the outside. 3. We waited for nearly an hour (No joke) for our food to start arriving. when I say Start arriving, I mean the 1st 3 plates were delivered. From then forward one plate at a time was brought to the table. ONE AT A TIME -with Up to 5 to 10 minutes in between some. after 7 of the 8 were delivered, my waiter had to ask me again what I ordered. I was the last one to receive my food. a whole 30 minutes after the 1st one arrived. this is NOT an exaggeration. We get our waiter was slammed and he tried to make the best of it for us. but this wasn't a him issue. these were all a kitchen and poor management issue. however, it is poor serving when you have to ask MULTIPLE times just for your water alone. yes, they comped the pasta (with metal) and the pork (raw) and rightfully so, since neither were edible, but that didnt seem to make it right since neither of my kids were able to eat dinner that night (and after waiting on food for an hour and a half. But worse than that, they both could have ended up in ER that night. SOOOOO horrible! Never again.

I needed to find a Lake Oswego restuarnt to host a lunch for some friends. I am from the east coast USA and not familiar with Lake Oswego. Oswego Grill was recommended to me and it was a great recommendation. I was able to book a table which was ready when we arrived. The food and service was perfect. The Poke entree for lunch was great as well as the burgers and salads. Great Server.

We liked the ambiance, menu was incredibly large and varied, we had fish tacos plus a big salad, plus a cheeseburger. The kale salad sounded great! Too much kale for me, but that was my own fault. Fish tacos were superb.

Oswego Grill was recommended by locals as a good food option in Lake Oswego. The restaurant has a lively retro vibe, with dark stained wood finishes and stuffed booths. Service is ok and friendly. My wife had the classic Cesar. She asked to add grilled shrimp, and although this was not a menu option, the request was quickly accommodated. One hitch was she requested four shrimp (option was two, three or four) and initially the salad had only three. When we asked, another was brought.Salad was just OK according to my wife. I had the stuffed salmon -a tourist dish! - which was excellent. The wine service was the disappointment. First, the OR Pinot Noir selections are good and the price point are a bargain for a restaurant. We order the Archery Summit Dundee Hills Pinot Noir, which is an iconic OR Pinot, which was priced at $75. I have seen this in stores at the $60 range price point. So it seemed it would be an excellent value. However, the wine was served at slightly above room temperature and tasted noticeably warm. Granted it had been over 100 degrees that day, but still this is serious wine faux pas. Secondly, the wine was a 2020 and had a noticeable smoke taint. I noted this to the wine server, who ignored the comment. I should have sent it back, my bad. The insidious thing about smoke taint, even when it doesn't completely overwhelm, it depresses the fruit and other flavors. The wine lacked its usual power and finish. I would consider giving Oswego Grill another chance, but this meal was less than stellar.
