After a day out in the elements (read: cold and wet!) we decided to try out a place that had been suggested by a couple of other folks along the way. We got in before the lunch rush really got started so we got seated...More

The Black Fish is a must stop whenever we are in Lincoln City. Easy to find right on the highway. It is small, intimate, quiet and romantic. Some may consider the décor a bit quirky, but people come for the exceptional food not the art...More

The place felt very unremarkable, even though it gets many good reviews and had plenty of customers. We had to wait for the table, and that was fine, but the reception was cold and unfriendly. Nothing was offered in the waiting area and sitting arrangements...More

Such a joy to eat food that is so creative and well-prepared! Your tastebuds will thank you. For holidays and during the busy summer months, reservations are highly recommended.

We had the standard coast fish and chips and oysters and chips dinners...the oysters were especially done well. Had been here 5 years ago....nothing much had changed, would count on it being a reliable place to go again. Parking could be better, but easy to...More

The Clam Chowder was good, however the bowl was on the small side. The Breading on the Fish and Chips gets soggy if not eaten immediately so if you like your fish crisp eat it right away. We ordered the Peanut ButtEr PiE and the SLicE...More

The atmosphere was the very best, servers were great, but, the food was not very good. I heard this restaurant was the best around, but not so. The fish/chips were bready and fries were limp. Alfredo with salmon was tasteless, thick and very pasty. Prices...More

Reservations are best as they are very busy. We did get in as a walkin on our first visit, but that was at 5pm or so early in the week. At most of the better coast restaurants we find it best to call ahead.

I would consider the prices mid range. We had appetizer, 2 dinner entrees, dessert, and wine for just under 100 dollars. Well worth it! The food is fresh and well prepared, and the service is friendly.
