Wonderful little Italian restaurant in downtown McMinnville Oregon. Food was delicious, excellent wine choices, service could have been a little more attentive.

A great choice for Italian food in the wine country. Husband and I enjoyed salads and excellent pasta, perfectly cooked and sauced. Our friends ordered pizza, which was big enough for two to share. They have a good selection of wine and knowledgable wait staff.

Great Italian food with fresh ingredients in the charming small town of McMinnville. Sit in the casual area in the back. So good!

Nicks is located in the old downtown area of Mcminnville and is really a treasure. the wait staff was friendly and attentive. Decor is minimal and attractive without getting in the way. I had the dungeness crab lasagne, which was beyond words, What a treat....More

We took another couple here since none of us had been recently (in the last few years since the changes & Nick's daughter took over). We enjoyed our meals, the wait staff was attentive but not hovering, the wine list was great, and I have...More

Good service and reasonable prices. I had the minestrone which was good but despite all the lovely ingredients lacked very slightly in the flavor dept. The beet salad was absolutely perfect.

Stopped by at the back bar for a pizza late one night. The pizza was outstanding. Wait was a little longer than expected, but we were in no hurry. Good wine and beer selection. Worth a stop.

We have dined here before without a complain but our last meal was barely edible. My trio of pork was terrible and the Ragu was decent but not special. I was expecting a good meal but was disappointed.

Had eaten in the front of this restaurant over 20 years ago and it was an ok experience back then. Since then we have had dinner and drinks in the back and until a year ago it was always nice and quiet, when we were...More

We were there when they were having a fund-raising special for an employee. We ate the special paella which was superb! The other offerings looked and sounded delicious. Nice wines!

We used to fly to Mcminville just we could go to Nicks. That was a long time ago when we had our own plane. At that time, you had a set menu with soup, salad, fresh baked bread and a choice of main entree. I've looked at your menu and now everything seems to be al a carte. I don't mind that if you have more entrees than just pasta and pizza. do you? And if the quality of food is just as good, we wouldn't mind driving there for a weekend. Thank you. Gulzar Hallman.

In my opinion, I think you could find somewhere else that's better. There was other places around to check out. Nicks seems ok from the front sidewalk, and looks elegant and has a few food choices. But, when you order a... More
