Snowy day so we stopped here for some coffee and cocoa. Ended up having tator tots too. Everything was good and the staff was very friendly. They offer local art, and books too.

The food was adequate, but the place had an Andy Griffith vibe that was fun. The portions were large, but my fish fillets had a definite freezer burn flavor.
We had breakfast in this cute little diner. Big menu and one of only two restaurants in this town of 130. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lots of locals. Sit at the counter or in the cute little booths. Good simple food. Friendly staff.

We were heading for the Painted Hills and stopped here for lunch. Wonderful service and delicious food. Will definitely be back the next time we're in central Oregon. Hamburgers were above average and the baked potato dish was the hit!
