We had dinner at Ruddick/Wood back in July and the entire experience was great. Great service, amazing food and the desert blueberry lavender ice cream is so memorable...I can close my eyes now and taste it again. Perfect spot for dinner in wine country.

I went to this restaurant with a group of 5 other people of us ordered the same menu item and they all tasted dramatically different. The service was not all that good. Drinks were not very good as well as being kinda expensive.

Description
Ruddick/Wood is a casual restaurant and tavern serving locally focused, seasonal, new-American fare alongside craft beer, wine and cocktails in a renovated 1920s garage in downtown Newberg, Oregon. Ruddick/Wood has been built around the idea of country kitchens, roadhouses, saloons and way-points; and reflects our love of local food and drink, as well as our desire to create a place that is part of the community fabric. Think dinners of wood-fired steaks, roasted fish and flatbreads; vegetable plates and salads; house-made desserts; and rotating snacks all changing with the season. Think of classic cocktails; small-batch spirits; craft breweries; and lesser-known wineries. These are the things that make Ruddick/Wood what it is.
