When we pulled up I had a few reservations, it doesn't look that great from the outside but the food and service was excellent. Before our meal we were served sweet coconut soup, Amazing! So delicious. A place you won't regret.

I love this restaurant. It is the number one Thai place for my best friend and I. I usually have the Mango Delight, or the Cashew one right before it! Great soup!

After eating lots of good seafood for a few days straight, we wanted something different. The Lucky Thai Elephant looks like an abandoned building on the outside and we almost did not go inside because it looked so horrible. Since it was a recommendation from a local I checked inside and found the staff friendly and the restaurant inside clean.... More

Easy to find location on Hwy. 101, yet we didn't notice any traffic noise. The atmosphere was nice. We ordered appetizer, dinner & drinks. The service was quick, friendly & attentive. The server made it a point to ensure the desired level of spice in the dish when taking the order. The food was excellent; quite delicious. The iced coffee... More

We really enjoyed dinner here, prices were excellent (our Pad Thai with chicken was $10.95, glass of Chablis $5, and pale ale, $4) and the dish was robust albeit not authentic Thai. Rather it was a Thai/Western fusion, as the Pad Thai noodles were based in a tomato sauce, typical of many North American restaurants but unheard of in Bangkok... More

Another pleasant surprise!! In a small beach town, we found an Asian restaurant. We went for take out, not knowing what to expect. The food was absolutely fabulous!! Highly recommended for small or big groups- spacious!

We were sadly disappointed with the Lucky Thai Elephant Restaurant. My husband ordered the Pad Thai and the noodles all stuck together. The flavor was ok, but it appeared to be old and over cooked. I ordered the red curry. The flavor was good, very spicy, and the chicken was fine. I am sure the vegetables came from a bag... More

We would never had considered this place had we not seen the reviews, a classic case of not judging a book by it's cover but it's outside appearance does it no favours. Having said that we took a chance and were pleased we did, it's quite basic inside but clean and the food which is the main thing was tasty,... More

I have driven past this place many times and it never crossed my mind to go. The Thai restaurant on the bayfront was closed so we decided to go here instead. It blew my mind and I have never been back to the other place. The food is tastier, cheaper, and the portions are bigger. I love Thai food and... More
