Title says it all, cheep liquor, free pool Wednesday and the best fish and chips of anywhere. I had both the local fish one night and the other, i couldn't tell the difference between the two but the fish and chips is a must have for anyone passing through.

To get the Pacific City Experience, The Sportsman is a "must-do" on the coast. Here is where the hard-working locals come to unwind. Excellent food and drink. Wait staff really hustles. Music a bit loud to have a conversation. Live music some nights.

The Sportsman might as well be the set of your favorite sitcom. Full of humorous, snarky signs and, more importantly, great beer, it also features a great digital jukebox and a menu that changes nightly. It's the kind of place locals go to to catch up on the latest town gossip, as well as where visitors will feel welcome.

This is a great alternative to the Pelican Brewery on the beach. The dory caught fish and chips are always fresh and a pint of Mirror Pond Pale Ale makes a great lunch. for an affordable price.

Always eat at the Sportsman when at the Coast. The food is very good and plentiful. Like the service as well. Yes, noisy bar, but entertaining.

Townie bar with awesome food, great, amazing, funny decor, and absolute lack of pretension. Good drink selection for the type of premises. Staff very nice, we enjoyed them very much. If and when you get tired of fancy places, and just want good honest food and drink, don't pass this by.

I was hoping for more. The parking lot was flooded. Food was ok. Coleslaw was so so. Friendly waitress and good beer.

This pub was recommended to us and unless it was we would have passed it up. The food was great and staff was as nice as could be. Ordered a fisherman's platter consisting of cod, scallops, clam strips, oysters and shrimp - along with coleslaw and a choice of several types of fries or onion rings. My husband ordered a... More
