We stopped in for lunch and had the most amazing food to wake up our tastebuds. The reuban sandwich is so flavorful and taste home made. The fish and chips have a wonderful breading and the fish was tasty and moist. The bread they use on their hamburgers are wonderful as well. Fresh, tasty and inovative and generous protions. A... The raspberry wheat beer was delicious. The Reuben and Norm burger was marginal. The plates were too small as the food was overflowing. Waitress was attentive and efficient.

Burgers were fine except that my I Can Has Cheezburger was a bit dry for my taste. But sweet... More

The staff was very good, actually bent over backwards when our food needed to be returned because it was not hot. As well the servings are far too big. No need to have so much food, speaks to healthy eating. The chef needs to balance standard american food with urban healthy daily specials.

We have traveled through Pendleton 3 times in the past year and each time have stopped at The Prodigal Son. The service is extremely quick, the salads are great and the fries are some of the best fries we have ever had. I also had a beer - " A beer named Sue " - a mellow ale which also... More

What a great find in this sleepy little town. Well, we were there in late February and it was sleepy then... The menu was diverse and food was better than expected. The place was friendly and cozy and we'll definitely be going back~
