We are here again on our way through to Arizona. The place was busy but we were helped and served promptly. I had the chicken again and my husband had a Reuben. Both were very good.

We stopped here and tried the thanksgiving menu, which wasn't very good. I wouldn't suggest it actually.

Stayed in downtown Pendleton while traveling cross-country. Decided to go to this recommended local restaurant for breakfast. Has the feel of people who have known each other for years and are a bonded community. Decor is definitely western with heads on the walls and lots of Irish-themed sayings. Food was basic eggs, omelets, pancakes - well-prepared and enjoyable. Service was... More

We were traveling home to Seattle from Boise and the signs for "Roosters" on the highway had us thinking about stopping in Pendleton for a mid-drive meal. I realized that maybe I wanted something a little more authentic than a place that advertised on giant billboards so we took an earlier exit and wandered into the historic district of Pendleton.... Definitely nothing fancy, and food served on paper plates and plastic utensils. Hopping during rodeo of course. The waitresses were hustling as fast as they could - but even so 40 min wait for order to come through. Very generous servings though, and good value.

We had breakfast one day & dinner another... Mind you during round up week everything is served on paper plates, plastic silverware, plastic glasses & a limited menu… However the food is delicious! It's casual bar food - but yummy! Great Burger & fries - and a mean Bloody Mary!

Friendly, quick service and good burgers! Don't miss the photos on the walls or people-watching for local color.

The 'Bow is a Pendleton Institution. It's so old school they don't take plastic, but don;t fear, there's an ATM so you can get the cash to pay your bill. The chicken is awesome, and the bacon is thick.

We were recommended The Rainbow Cafe by friends. Glad we listened. We ate breakfast there twice, however on the second day there was an hour wait for food. They were honest and forthcoming and told us right from the beginning when we walked in what the wait would be. No, worries, we just sat at the bar and had a... More
