Went there to play and hear music and sample the pizza and beer. Pizzas was well crafted and the crust was cooked PERFECTLY, crispy and tasty from the outer rim to the middle. Good ale on tap, will stop by here next time in Port...Orford.More
Stopped in on our way up 101... had an excellent breakfast burrito and cappuccino! Definitely worth the stop❤️
I guess I don't have too much to add to all the other great reviews! This was an unexpected and wonderful visit. First off, we were traveling through town on our way to Canada from California. I had a virtual doctor's appointment that I needed...to keep and I had to have good wifi to use the app for my visit. We tried the local library but the wifi kept dropping so we Googled around the area and found Mr Ed's. Mr Ed answered and we were just honest (obviously we would by coffee to come in and use the internet) but on the phone he didn't seem too worried about it, just gave us a 'come on in, me and the wifi will be here all day!' So that was a good sign! I have two kids, my husband and a friend traveling with us. We thought about just using the wifi from the parking lot because it was a little embarrassing that I had to talk to a doctor while inside a coffee house. The wifi couldn't be picked up from the side of the parking lot we had to park in - so I had to pull up my big girl pants and deal with speaking quietly and respectfully on the phone while in a public place. I was delighted to see that this place was perfect for everything we needed. First off, the coffee was excellent! Fresh roasted and yummy. I asked first before ordering because I only drink dark roast and hate to be disappointed when I am told the coffee is strong when it isn't. There was only medium roast - but because it was freshly roasted and ground that morning by Mr Ed - I took the chance and it was delish! So, I got my coffee fill and my friend and the kids ordered pizza while they waited for me! Yes, I said pizza - and it was super yummy! I don't know how or why Mr Ed's Espresso and Juice sells pizza - but it was perfect to keep the kids happy. The coffee house was a decent size with lots of regulars coming in and out. There was a group of ladies enjoying their morning so I really didn't want to have my video visit inside and ruin their experience - and lucky for me --- I went to find the bathroom through an adjacent door and what I found was Mr Ed's Underground Pub! What? More surprising than the pizza was that there was a pub attached to the back of the coffee house! Even better for me was that I was standing in a foyer that linked the two establishments and there were tables and chairs set up so I could sit (semi)privately and have my video chat without bugging everyone! It was awesome. So, at the end of the hour and a half I spent at Mr Ed's, I had use of great wifi, I drank wonderful coffee, warmed the hearts and bellies of my children, completed a doctor's visit, visited with my friend and found a great place to chill out next time we come through town! If you are traveling through or live nearby - you should definitely visit this place - don't let this one go!More
...coffee, juices, breakfast, lunch, then come back at night for nice group of locals back in the pub and cold, local brews. Perfect.
we were on a three week road trip...near the end..book two nights in Port Orford...when we arrived it was obvious that nature was the main attraction...the beach, cliffs and water color were extra special....it didn't appear much was happening after the sun went down...until we went...to Mr. Ed's place !! We walked in and ordered a pizza and beer..Ed suggested we go to his bar in the back that had tables, nice selection of iced cold draft beer and a very nice vibe..hanging on the walls of the bar are many musical instruments.. many... there is also a drum kit,, microphones, amps, sound system all ready to go.. anyone passing by is welcomed to go up and play..in fact...the night me and my wife were there three guy's came in with a mandolin and two guitars..and they were FANTASTIC !!! so don't be fooled by the sleepy looks of Port Orford...Mr. Ed's place jumps !!!...also...the beer was great and the BLT rap and pizza were excellent...More
Owner Ed will make your day start right with a cup of his fresh-roasted (yup - he roasts his own) coffee, espresso, whatever your pleasure might be. He also offers muffins, cookies and breakfast burritos. He's a cool dude - plays guitar - and has...a small club in the back that opens for evening locals to play to their hearts content (known as The Underground). Local brews on tap and pretty darn good pizza too.More

I purchased multiple pizzas here on two occasions for a parenting class I was facilitating in Port Orford. The pizza was very tasty and perfectly done and all of the parents and families happily gobbled it up
Mr. Ed's ( Owner Eddie ) is a good place to grab a tasty and filling Breakfast Burrito! Coffee's are a plus, very nice....they are making Pizza, take home, in their kitchen with a beautiful custom made Pizza Table, (hand made by a local wood...worker/artist). I have eaten many of their Burritos, always great!More
