Voodoo gets all the Portland donut love, but Tonalli's is a much better experience, for my money. They don't have as many "wild and crazy" donuts but do have staples like a maple bar with bacon on it and an Apple Supreme that is a cross between donut and apple strudel. But the blueberry fritter WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE! It's... More

The donuts here are old school, traditional and yummy. Why pay double for trendy fritters and crullers when you can satisfy your carb cravings here? Why only three stars, then? The service here, to be blunt, sucks. Time after time, it's either unfriendly or inefficient. Some of the staff behind the counter really send the impression that you're bothering them... More

My friend who lives in NoPo told me these were her favorite so I had to try. They have a big variety of donuts but they were not as good as Heavenly Doughnuts. The place is not very clean and could use some updates and new furniture. There was only one girl working there today and she was taking food... More

This is a great little shop that offers donuts and ice cream. The donuts are fresh even if you are their late in the day. Prices are very reasonable and you are not standing outside on a hot day waiting for hours. They are great at moving people in and out. Nothing fancy here, just great, reasonably priced donuts and... We were walking by and the aroma of wonderfulness in the air drew us in. Quite a few choices and they also had coffees and ice cream to choose from.

This was my third donut stop in Portland. Of course I tried Voodoo - too much hype for not enough flavor, and Blue Star - too expensive for just ok. But OMG Tonalli's!!! I only got three donuts but kept wishing that my husband was with me so that we could get and share a lot more. All of the... More

Yes, Voodoo and Blue Star are destinations in Portland. But, if you want a real maple bar or fritter, do not miss this place! It is simple and easy to miss, but hands down my favorite! You will feel like you are transported back to when Portland was truly funky. Not overly sweet, the maple bars are the best! The... More

By the time I dropped off the cyclists I rescued outside of Hillsboro one dark night, I was ready to follow their advice and seek out Tonalli's Donuts... afterall, it was after 11pm and they stay open until MIDNIGHT! . Such a unique experience in Portland... eating my way through 3 weeks of, "These are the best donuts around! Better... More

You can't go to Portland Oregon without having a donut. My husband and I tried this donut shop. The donuts reminded me of Krispy Kreme donuts. They were very yummy.
