I have traveled pretty extensively and have found that airports are pretty poor with their food offerings. You have the chains of fast food, chain coffee places, and over priced sit down restaurants. PDX is a bit different and I found some tasty Asian noodles that are under $10! At an airport! I ordered a spring roll bowl which consisted... More

I had the Saigon Bowl, which was a mix of meats over noodles with a salad and spring roll. The spring roll was served too hot to eat and the meat and noodles were barely warm. It took quite a long while for the order to be brought to the table, so I wonder whether the bowl was created and... More

Excellent food, reasonably priced and a fun atmosphere. My wife and I live in Oregon and visit Portland a few times each year. To date, our dining experiences have been rather uneven in this city, so I did a bit of online research to improve our choices. We were very pleased to find Bambuza. This Vietnamese restaurant has become successful... More

Bambuza is certainly different. The tables are catch as catch can, and after the food is ordered at the counter it is brought out to the table. We had two different noodle dishes, and both were tasty and nicely presented. I might not drive a long way to eat here, but staying in the vicinity makes it a fine place... More

Do not be fooled by the lack of queues forming in front of the stall. I had Chicken Rice Bowl (9.95) when I was at Portland International Airport. It is filling, delicious and the service I received was satisfactory!

I was stuck in Portland's Airport for a couple of hours. After a rough turn with another of the restaurants in the food court I decided to give it another try. The cashier was pleasant and very helpful. The food was also great. I would definitely return.

I was excited to try this place but it was a bit of a let down. The food was just average and it wasn't hot. It was lukewarm at opening. I had the noodles with chicken and a spring roll. I'm not sure I'll give it another try.

Bambuza was great a few years ago but has gone steadily downhill since. The food just isn't as good as it used to be. My family ordered take out from Bambuza today, hoping it had improved since our last visit, and were greatly disappointed. Pho was super bland (and didn't come with the usual sauces) and the dishes weren't labeled... More

There's not many mid-range prices (i.e. each dish is ~$10) in the area. Even the food trucks cost $10 for things, so to get a hot meal, a nice place to sit down is a great deal. Its a pay at the counter and they bring you the food sort of place. I would say they're flavors are a bit... More
