This restaurant was a total surprise to us. We experienced a nice array of menu offerings. The meal began with 2 different types of raw oysters. As appetizers we tried the bone marrow, lamb tartare and foie gras, all of which were excellent. I would...More

Atmosphere, food and wait staff were superb! Modern but retro interiors and our waitress matched the vibe. Smart food and staff. Highlights: mushrooms and cheese plate appetizers and lamb shank and special fish for main course. Shared pain perdu and creme brûlée (my fav!). Would...More

Tried to get into Gabriel Rucker's Le Pigeon and couldn't, so went to his bistro Little Bird instead. Wow. Had to wait almost an hour for a seat at the bar, but it was well worth it. In a non-descript downtown location (but convenient), the...More

Literally had one of the best meals of my life a Little Bird. Fried Chicken Coq Au Vin is indescribably good. Very comfortable atmosphere and reasonable prices for the quality. Service was flawless. Easy walk from any downtown hotel.

We were trying to get a reservation at Le Pigeon and ended up at their sister restaurant Little Bird. The food is excellent. The tables were a little close however.

If you are european, you should know that the food is very limited. Good product. But I paid 120 $ and I finished hungry.

Lovely atmosphere. Delicious food, fresh, well prepared and great wine and cocktail list. Open late in downtown Portland.

The food is classically French-well prepared with muted flavors. Fresh halibut was available and it was well prepared. We tried the compressed melon salad, the cantaloupe stood up well to the vacuum sealer but the watermelon seemed mush. I'd skip this one. The must have...More

I hosted a group upstairs for a corporate lunch. As we know, heat rises and it became very hot up there. They brought in fans for us. I thought they handled it well.
