After eleven years or so at this location, this business seems to be closing up shop! So, if you have meaning to visit ... do so now before April! They're not opening up a new location either, but "taking a break". We went for a lunch at noon on Saturday, and for a while, we were the only ones there.... More

The service was excellent, decor beautiful and the food was amazing. It was the best Thai food we have had in years. Beautiful presentation too. We were full, however we had to try the dessert anyway because everything else was so wonderful. We were so glad we did, it was perfect. We will be going back soon and hope to... More

First and most important, the food at My Thai Bistro is delicious. We shared two dishes and both were excellent. If over half the people in your restaurant are dining with their winter coats on you would think they could turn up the heat. Not My Thai Bistro, thank goodness for the delicious ginger tea. Brrr! Service was slow and... More

I love My Thai Bistro for its always fresh, delicious flavors; its welcoming and comfortable atmosphere; and its great service. My favorite dish is the Tom Yum Noodle Soup - perfect for fall, winter and spring rainy days in Portland. The flavors in this hearty soup are amazing and it is filled with meat of your choice, plus added tofu,... More

They start you off with three excellent samples of soup. Then they start you off with a wonderful salad presented in a whole tomato. Then we were presented our entree. We were pleasantly surprised because we had just been driving aroung Portland looking for a place to eat on a Friday night and ever place we had tried had no... More

My mom and I were visiting Portland, and we wandered around on Hawthorne one evening looking for a quick bite to eat. We both like Thai food, and so we gave My Thai Bistro a look, even though the name and the signage was nothing fancy. We got lucky! We had a small table by the window, so we were... More

On a whim we chose My Thai, and what a good choice it was! The staff was great, the food was delicious. We ordered 3 main courses for a table of 4, along with a shared appetizer. The intensity of heat in the food can be chosen ahead of time, since everything is made to order. We chose all vegetarian... More

We happened to be shopping in the area and stopped in for lunch. Service was friendly and helpful. You had the option of ordering dinner size or lunch size which is about 60% of the dinner size. All of us had some form of curry dish Everyone was happy with their meal and it was just the right size you... More
