Finding traditional Carne Asada these days is a challenge. Everyone is putting there own hipster spin on it. Not here though. They make authentic Mexican food. It's always hot, fast service and there staff is muy guapo.

Lots of people do take-out from here. We usually snag a table, and stay to eat. My favorite is the avocado salad.

Best street style tacos I've eaten in Portland ... so far! The flavors are excellent - try any of them - you won't be disappointed - and they're so inexpensive - order several! Not so hot on the guacamole - it was just so so !

They make the BEST tacos. We ordered the pork carnitas and they were excellent. We noticed other plates that had huge burritos and nachos.

in a corner of pocket mall in Hollywood district of Portland; who would have thought!?!? the steak burrito was enormous and flavorful; friends had taco platter and veggie plate: both said they were delicious. service is quick and accommodating. VERY important - they cannot accept credit cards, but do have atm on premise, so bring some cash: good quality for... More

Yes, it's inexpensive. Yes, you get a large volume of food for your dollar. But the problem I have with this place is the "doing it on the cheap" feel of a lot of the food. Take the refried beans that come with the burrito plate. Take them, please. Tasteless. And the squirt of "guacamole" and sour cream that adorned... More

I was taken to this quaint "little" restaurant for dinner. Wow, was I surprised ! This was, what I would consider, authentic Mexican food. The tortillas must be homemade and the meat filling was tender, the onions, peppers and other stuff was also perfectly seasoned to my taste. The food was quickly served and hot. The clean environment and friendly... More

Outstanding.....outstanding Mexican food for the money! This "hole in the wall" cafe is absolutely one of the best places I've eaten at for a Mexican lunch. The Fajita Burrito was not only HUGE, but hot, tasty, and filling. They only take cash, but have an ATM inhouse so you need to plan unless you don't mind transaction fees. The service... More

I stumbled upon this place and was craving Mexican. Being from the southwest, I did not expect to be blown away, but I was indeed blown away by this place. I had three tacos and rice - the tacos were AMAZING. So good in fact, that we went back the next day. The service was fast and the prices were... More
