Had lunch here on a whim and discovered a fantastic eatery. Had the mezza sampler and a gyro. Both were excellent. The environment was clean and bright with a little outside seating.

Lovely place, great service, great selection of Middle Eastern dishes. Bread was AMAZING! I highly recommend the lamb shawarma and the lentil soup for lunch, the lamb ossobuco for dinner.
This restaurant in northeast Portland serves absolutely delicious food at reasonable prices. We had the mezze plate, lentil soup, lamb shawarma bowl and Turkish coffee. Delish. And the baklavas are wonderful. Highly recommend Ya Hala
