Dot's is a solid neighborhood hang out. Great happy hour, great mixed drinks. If you are on the Alaska dining program you can get extra points for eating here as well. I use my chase card to pay so I get chase points and alaska miles when I eat here. We like to get drinks before or after seeing a... More

I hadn’t been inside Dot’s Café since meeting up with a Dutch dame around the time th World Trade Center vanished from the New York Skyline. The only thing I remembered was that the artwork on their walls was quirky– Black velvet paintings. One of which was of Elvis. And that the joint was kinda dark. Yea, a dark dive... More

The ambience is great with a split down the middle so it's half bar and half "all ages" dining during the day. Mostly local neighborhood folks and overall relaxed vibe. I recommend the Vegan Bowl. Brown rice, black beans, organic tofu, avocado and a little spice. Tasty. Make sure you snap a few photos in the booth by the bar... More

Breakfast was very good, nice menu and lots of choices. Food took awhile to get to us, it did not appear that there was enough help in the kitchen. Server was very apologetic.

Good food, very good drinks, relaxed atmosphere. Younger vibe seems to attract a younger crowd. Great neighborhood location.

This a-little-bit-too-dark-inside-to-clearly-see-the-menu pub is "just alright".I might be back but probably not.I certainly would not go out of my way to come here again. It has a small to average size menu with the usual burgers and wings and all that and takes no zero menu chances. The lighting is a tad too dark to clearly see the bill or... More

A friend and I stopped in here to a burger and a beer and I have to say it was pretty good. I ordered the Dots Burger and if you like bacon and blue cheese this is the one for you.

I stumbled on Dots while exploring Portland, I'm so glad I found it. The Happy Hour menu included great American fusion and comfort food, as well as lovely drink specials. I am very lucky I found it.

Arrived a little before brunch was ending. Had to wait a bit for the lunch piece to be setup. Very hipsterish place. Servers were nice and mostly attentive. Order the vegan bowl and wife had the Asian bowl. Both were very good. Kids had burgers and all enjoyed. Good food. Would come again

Food is still good at Dots from what I remember from years ago. It has changed owners since my last visit, however the atmosphere has not changed much at all. It has always been a very dark "hole in the wall" type of place, where the building leans a bit to the west (literally). Great service and the food was... More
