My husband ordered the garden scrambler and I ordered eggs and toast. Everything came out quickly and was warm. The husband really enjoyed his eggs and vegetables. Mine was just your average eggs and toast.

i came here a second time to meet up with family. I didn't eat, but i'm making a review for my mom who did. She ordered the soup of the day which was like mexican corn chowder or something and it came with toasted bread. The soup was cold and had corn and what looked like pieces of breakfast potatoes... I really liked the options on the menu, including vegetarian and gluten-free choices; however, the food was just okay. The omelette was way overcooked (browned and hard). I ordered my home fries with "the works" (extra $3.00 for salsa, sour cream, cheese, and scallions), but the salsa was very cold (like right out of the fridge), so it made my... More

Went early on a Sunday morning before the crowds. I liked how early they opened (7:00 a.m.), although given that I was one of the first to arrive, my order took a while to come out of the kitchen. Service wasn't very attentive at all, and I would agree with another reviewer that they need to work a bit more... More

Old school diner atmosphere. Great service with helpful tips to get us to a few places of interest around Portland. Yummy food!

My eggs Benedict had REAL Hollandaise. (Which I had to work off in three days at the gym) It was delicious. Their breakfasts are awesome.

I have been eating at this cafe for over a decade and through the years it has always been a favorite of mine for breakfast. The food was good, service was good - I could get gluten-free pancakes, but the last three visits have seen a marked decline. We ate there on Monday and the cafe was dirty. The windows... More

If this restaurant was in a more arrogant city I would have given it a "poor" rating, but I don't want to be mean. The bacon on the BLT was so overcooked it had the consistency and flavor of salted bisque ware. The "L" and "T" were minimal, and no mayo, making the sandwich an exercise in dry chewing and... More

Lunch for three of us was pretty good overall. The food was very tasty -- BLT with avocado, garden scramble, and breakfast burrito. Our waitress, Allison, was very efficient but she wasn't very friendly. The decor definitely needs to be spruced up. The walls are painted in dreary colors, and the upholstery in some of the booths is patched up... More

This is a small cafe, tables a bit crowded together, with a friendly, attentive staff. My husband had a black bean and rice bowl with chips and salsa; I had the quiche of the day (turkey and mushroom) with small side salad. He said the rice bowl dish was good but lacked much flavor (so added his salsa). The tortilla... More
