My friend and I both have food allergies and the server went out of her way to help us find options on the regular menu that we could safely eat - and they were delicious!

Modern but you can enjoy traditional taste of Peru food. Nice service and wooden interior feels you are customers. With must-taste-cocktail 'Pisco Sour', nice main dishes with various selection of beef, lamb, and fishes will bring you Peru !

My wife and I had a late lunch here, a restaurant that has been around since 2003. Everything we had was excellent and the service was quite good. Arroz con Mariscos is a paella-like dish with plentiful seafood; the Ensalada Verde Peruana greens with hearts of palm, cotija cheese and asparagus in a passionfruit vinaigrette was very fresh and flavorful.... I went to this restaurant because of what I read here and it exceeded my expectations. Instead of ordering a main dish we decided to try many small plates. All of them were delicious!!! The wine list isn't very good, the cocktails are better.

Andina's location is perfect for downtown or close in SW events. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is a little on the noisy side and table are squeezed in tight but not so much as to prevent a conversation. Waiters have been excellent. We held a party at Andina 3 years ago and friends still say it was the best... More

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Portland. We go there for special occasions such as my birthday in January. We're never disappointed.

Having spent much time in Peru I can safely say that Andina makes Peruvian food as it should be made. My wife and I have taken family, friends and gone solo several times and are never disappointed. It's a very busy place, and others must know good Peruvian food when they taste it too!

Description
Andina draws inspiration from the native culinary traditions of Peru, as well as from the contemporary cooking by some of Peru’s leading chefs. Owner Doris Rodriguez de Platt, collaborates with Andina’s kitchen team to develop a menu that celebrates her family’s Andean roots, interweaving the ideas and techniques of both Criollo and Novo-Andean cuisines. The kitchen sources native and local ingredients to create dishes at once traditionally rooted and personally inspired. Founded in 2003, Andina emerged as one of the region’s leading Peruvian restaurants and continues to generate wide appeal within the food communities in and around Portland, and much further afield.
