We did not go here to eat but rather to have some fun with Karaoke. We had a blast! Good choice of drink items to go along with the singing. Everyone inside was very friendly and all seemed to enjoy the entertainment.

We wanted a soup hit after an evening meeting, and Yen Ha is open late. That notwithstanding, the food is good, the choices vast, the prices are moderate, and the karaoke in the adjacent lounge is not obtrusive. (At least not at 10 pm on a Thursday).

Went to Yen Ha on a Saturday last week. Karaoke DJ is a lot of fun. He's very engaging and charismatic. He has a great karaoke scout program where you can get badges for singing karaoke. Super fun and everyone gets a chance to sing. Tried the calamari and was thrilled. It was perfectly fried and seasoned. The order took... More

this place always takes a long time to get us our meal, but the food is good, so make sure you're not in a hurry and you will enjoy yourself

We decided to celebrate a birthday here because of a recommendation that it features authentic Vietnamese food and a good bar and were very happy with our choice. 7 of us had 4 cocktails and a beer, 4 appetizers, 7 mains, and 3 desserts for $180. Would order any of the items again except for 1 wide noodle dish that... More

This was our first time here and we were very impressed by the friendly staff and great food. We used to go to a place down the road and across the street, but were tired of the RUDE staff so we wont go back. The Salt & Pepper Calamari was outstanding. All the other food we ordered was great too.... More

This restaurant is connected to a bar next door. This was my second time at the restaurant, my first visit was about 4 months ago. When I walked in the door the owner greeted me by name and actually remembered that I am from the Bay Area. Very authentic food. The first time I was there I had the Bo... More

We have been coming here for more than 20 years, and I am happy to say that the old girl has had an impressive face lift. Not the interior; it is still dark, plain, and in need of an upgrade. The food is still the draw, and last time we were there the quality had improved substantially! At the end... More

Thurs 2/23/12 2pm: Yen Ha Vietnamese Restaurant/Portland, OR/yenhapdx.com/. We arrived for a late lunch. Nice, clean and bright, nothing fancy, though there’s a separate attached bar, very full menu 5-6 pages in addition to the specials; a sign that they will sell anything, whether it’s good or not. We ordered a few dishes, all are average Vietnamese cooking, nothing stood... More
