Park Kitchen was not on our radar until it popped up as one of the restaurants participating in Portland's Restaurant Month. This restaurant is unique since it is "tip-free" -- a "new trend" in some establishments. We started with their Chickpea Fries which comes with a roasted squash ketchup. The sauce and the salt on the fries makes the dish.... More

This had been our favorite restaurant a few years back and then not so much. We are happy to report they are back on A game! Yes the chickpea fries with house made squash catsup is a MUST! Steelhead was done to perfect as was my husband's pork with gnocchi. The vibe is casual and celebratory all in one. Tables... More

Had an amazing dinner for four. Experience was fantastic from the time we walked in to a very friendly greeting to the time we left. Great cocktails and wine list. Amazing fresh food with interesting flavors. Loved the Brussels, wild steelhead, meatballs, and everything else we had. Can't wait to go back and try more!!

We have been here on a few occasions. The most recent was for a family birthday with a toddler included. Food was tasty, promptly served and with a smile. We have also enjoyed popping in just for a wine or a coffee after socialising elsewhere. Despite whether the restaurant is very busy or about to close we have been welcomed.

Admittedly we ate here on NYE but we were very disappointed with the fixed menu that was offered. It really didn't seem representative of the menu we saw when we made the decision to book here and that was confirmed by a couple who sat next to us who were regulars. They had to wait 90 minutes for their table... More

What a wonderful dining experience. I love this restaurant and keep coming back, altho its been a while. Patience was required to weave the car through the Portland street construction, but it was well worth it. The appetizer --Jimmy Nardello peppers, peanuts, and scallions -- were so good.... I may grow the peppers next year at home. The entree --grilled... More

Portland is a great town to visit. It has lots going for it not least of which is some very good restaurants (and Powell's Book Store). Park Kitchen provided us with a nice relaxing meal after many hours of my wife buying books. I promise you will enjoy it too.

What an interesting mix of flavors and tastes. Chef David presented each dish with care and a great description. The wine paired was excellent and the choices were new and unique. The lamb with eggplant and other vegetables was yummy. The chocolate and salted caramel dessert was fantastic!

I met a Portland resident on a hike and she recommended this place. She said she had dined at all the restaurants in the Pearl Dsctrict and kept coming back to Park Kitchen. That intrigued me so we dined here on a Sunday evening. My husband and I decided to do the small plates both hot & cold plus a... More

I think this chef is trying so hard to be "different" that he has taken his eye off the ball. I was okay with a appetizer of sausage and cherries, that was interesting and tasty, but my pork entree was bland, and my girlfriend's salmon was raw! We sent it back, and it came back raw again. I think the... More
