My food was great. The company I was with was great too and really helped to pass the time. There was a lot of time to be passed: We had a 6:30 reservation and got there at 5:28. They had us wait until about 6:40....More

I like to go to Meriwether's whenever I come to Portland. The food is consistently excellent. We couldn't eat outdoors due to weather this time, but the indoors was not really very noisy, which made it so much easier to talk. If you're going with...More

The hot dog was delicious nestled in a bed of sauerkraut and onions on a crusty bakery bun. The French fries were from fresh potatoes so were limp and soggy. Service was prompt and friendly. The chicken salad was enhanced with asparagus on focaccia bread....More

Met another couple at Meriwether's for brunch. Weather cooperated so we experienced delightful ambiance outside on their covered patio. Gardens are inviting as was the water fountain in the center. And our omelets were scrumptious. Definitely a 'winner' for quiet brunch with friends.

I have mixed feelings about today's brunch. The food was good, not great, but good. The service was really good. I also agree with a set gratuity on a really busy day @ 20% is fair but the service charge and a min wage charge...More

We had breakfast. This is a VERY expensive restaurant. But it is also very good. A rare treat for us to splurge this way. She had huevos rancheros $17.00. A different take on the dish put works well. I had the roasted fruit waffle with...More

Had cocktails and dinner here with a large business group and the food was quite good. We were outside on the patio. Service was a bit slow but very friendly staff. Heaters made the space comfortable even though it was chilly weather.

I think paying $5 dollars for 8 oz fresh orange juice is too much. $9 for French fries with hollandaise sauce (my teenage daughter couldn't believe the price) was ridiculous. The 1 pc chicken and 4 little square waffles for $21 was a lot. Overall,...More

This place is an original. They operate a 5-acre vegetable farm just 20 minutes from the restaurant. So, everything is fresh and some of the vegetables, I had never eaten or heard of. It was lunch and we were not very hungry so we ordered...More

Been to Meriwether's a number of times and usually have a good experience, however the wheels came off today, Easter Sunday of all days! Arrived a couple minutes early and was told we would be seated in 20 minutes, so my wife and I took...More

I'm pretty sure it isn't. I wouldn't bring a dog, even a small one. The tables are fairly close with just about enough room for the server to get through without a problem. But, the patio is a great place for humans and... More
