Great little place to grab a quick eat. Food was good and they were very gracious to customize the order. I drink a LOT of water and they kept it coming lol. Staff was kind and attentive. Look forward to going back next time I'm in Portland.

A good place to grab a meal or a drink. Prices are moderate and the place radiates an Oregon Wood Rustic decor with a Portland weird vibe. The fireplace or outdoor fire pits place to hang It has a 250 person concert hall below. Not free but a place to catch local acts.

Just look at the menu. Then go there. My experience: Saturday night, free street parking close by, a huge $5 happy hour burger, a $6 fresh side salad, and an ambiance that made me want to stay. Everything that my friends ordered looked good too. My picky friend Stubbs wasn't with us, but I think even Stubbs would give DF... More

The Doug Fir lounge is a great sport for catching a band. As is normal for Portland many craft beers are available.

Loved the Maggie Rogers/Overcoats show at Doug Fir while travelling in Portland. Intimate 300 capacity venue. Fun lounge upstairs. Enjoy!

Can be crowded on the weekends because it is worth it! Outdoor and indoor fire pits make terrific ambiance. The restaurant is open for lunch but then closes. Opens again at 5pm for dinner. Happy hour is great in the lounge but seating is limited when it rains. You can reserve an indoor room. Beware of the restrooms when you're... More

I recently stayed at the Jupiter and ate at the Doug Fir each night as it was so good! The service was fantastic and the food was lovely. Really great quality for a very reasonable price. The restaurant has a really nice vibe too so it's great for parties and events, overall I'd really recommend trying it when in Portland.

There are several venues here. As you go in, the left side is a restaurant. I didn't eat there, but it had a coffee shop (think Denny's but nicer) vibe. Downstairs, there is a concert venue. I went to the right - to the lounge. Beautiful decor with a large bar, then, to the right is a large room with... More

We stayed at the Jupiter Hotel and had friends/ family who live in Portland come and visit, have drinks and food with us and come and go to and from a concert at Revolution Hall. Public transportation is quick and easy. The food and drinks are excellent, happy hour is more than one hour and the music is great with... More
