We booked a table for 8 (post wedding meal) on January 1st. I had called Toro Bravo ahead of time to pre order food for the table, and asked them to make recommendations and handle the timing of our meal. Having everyone share tapas (family style) was a great way to celebrate together. The restaurant took such good care of... More

Our wait time was 2.5 hours which was the longest wait time we've ever had in our entire diner experience! We arrived at 5:30pm and didn't expect the answer coming out from the front desk staff. Thank goodness we went with couple other friends who had been there several times and recommended to still putting down our name and went... More

Had lots of items on the menu. Our waiter, Travis was great. We asked him what he recommended and he steered us right. We always as the waiter/waitress what he/she recommends because he/she eats here and knows what the food. Travis suggested the radicchio salad and the chanterelle mushroom toast. What a perfect combination! The chanterelle toast is amazing and... More

Not sure why it took so long to visit other than fear of the notorious long wait for a table. Discovered no wait at opening time while stuck in traffic from the airport. Varied menu with a great assortment of options. None of our choices disappointed and we look forward to a return.

I had been waiting to try this place out since forever. I had read such rave reviews but also how long the wait can be and so, never dared to try it given that husband and I are always on a time crunch with the babysitter at home. Finally, one day some of our friends were gracious enough to do... More

We finally made it here. We were concerned about long wait times so we arrived at 8pm Tuesday and were immediately seated at the "chefs bar" (the bar looking into the kitchen). We were able to order immediately and the food started rolling in within a couple of minutes! We ordered the tasting menu and were not disappointed. We were... More

For dinner I had grilled moorish lamb chops (very good, spicy, but not strong in the presentation side); a meatballs portion (the best dish I had here, served with a spicy tomato sauce, half slice of a grilled bread, peas and tons of Parmesan cheese); and salt cod fritters in a bed of aioli. For dessert I had a decent... More

Celebrated our anniversary here, I have never had Tapas before. We had the best seat in the house where we could watch these amazing dishes being made. We had also been seated right next to the window where the food came out and we asked every server what the dish was. They were all so gracious and professional and described... More

I love this quirky restaurant, you never know if you are going to share a table or not, just dont sit in the closet, you will know if you are.

My best friend and I came here to celebrate a good friend of our's birthday. It was quite crowded when we came and was told that the wait would be around 45 minutes to an hour, the host said she could call us when our table is almost ready. We had heard great things about Toro Bravo so didn't mind... More
