Get the Deep Fried Okrah! That's all there is to it. Breakfast and lunch menus run concurrently, so we had Chicken Fried Chicken and okrah in the A.M. Soooooo gooooood! Don't forget to smother everything in gravy! You're on vacation.

Now that's hat I'm talking about! Chicken, sausage, and shrimp gumbo was delicious and the bowl was a healthy size. Served with hush puppies. Yummy! My companion had andouille sausage and eggs, with a flaky biscuit the size of his fist. Great value, friendly service, and excellent food. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stopped here for dinner while waiting for the local Mardi Gras parade to start. We started with the mac and cheese, but added the pesto and chicken, which was above and beyond our expectations. He had a crawfish po boy and I had the brisket sandwich. His crawfish were crispy and well seasoned, my brisket was... More

I had an oyster Po-Boy, I could only eat half of it. It came with a salad, or fries side. I had the cold slaw, my friend had a pulled pork sandwich, again, 1/2 went home. The quality of everything was very good, Their fried chicken is a popular dish, as well. The Bloody Mary with a salad was excellent.... More

Fantastic New Orkeans cusine in Portland. Po Bo's are divine and try a Dixie beer or even the Frank "Blue Velvet" Booth favorite: Pabst Blue Ribbon. Comfortable place also with a good vibe

We ordered the chicken/waffle, cheese grits, brisket ends, collard greens & mac/cheese. All were excellent. I especially enjoyed the collard greens (with pork) and will return just... More

Came here with friends for dinner early on a Saturday night! Pleased to find out it was still happy hour! From 4-6. The girls each ordered a "Farmer's Daughter" which looked as nice as they tasted! Like a sour watermelon candy. The guys ordered Melvin IPA's. Always a good choice. We started with the fried okra appetizer for the table... More

We came here for a late lunch and were very pleased with our meal. My fiancé ordered the blackened catfish with a side of mac n cheese and a salad. I had the brisket with collard greens and cornbread. The blackened catfish was cooked to perfection as was my brisket. The barbecue sauce that came with the brisket was very... More
