With the way my granddaughter was talking, I expected better. The staff was friendly and helpful but the pizza crust was a bit too overcooked for me, and the lettuce and fruit in the salad bar could have been fresher. There is another pizza place in Scappoose that I like much better.
The New York style crust here is soooo good. The pizza's are delicious and they don't skimp on toppings. The salad bar is large and plentiful and very fresh. The pasta's are very good and a great value for the price. They deliver relatively late and are quick and efficient. Overall, an above average pizza place and they are also... More
I use to live in the area, I honestly like everything on the menu, but the thin crust pizza is better than anywhere. I've lived in many large cities and nowhere has a thin crust as good. the pizzas are also always filled with toppings. You can tell they don't buy premade crusts or sauces (like most pizza restaurants these... More
Stopped in for spaghetti and meatballs. When ordering, you go to the counter to place your order. They give you a table placard with your order number. I got my order in less than 10 minutes. The salad bar is also a good deal. You can fill up on that alone. This is a family friendly restaurant with good food... More
Wife and I go mainly for the salad bar ... it's the only one in town (that we know of) and is a pretty good deal. You won't get 40 feet of fixings like at Sweet Tomato but all the basics are there. Soup is always good. The sandwiches and pizza we have had have been good but a bit... More
We as a family enjoy Sunshine a lot. Pizza is good. Great salad bar. Staff is very friendly. The restaurant is roomy. Decor is ok. Pretty cozy. Great for Birthdays. They have a small game room. We pretty much stick to the pizza and salad. The rest of the food seems average. Heard their breakfasts are good, tho never tried.
Went here for dinner and the staff were great again, we decided not to get pizza and that was our mistake. I had the french dip and the meat had a couple of big pieces of gristle and it was yucky, my husband had a burger and he said it was just fair. Stick with the pizza when going to... More
Nice salad bar with lots of choices. Always fresh. Pizza is only one in town that we rave about! Even our Army son misses their pizza.
I've lived here 25 years and have come into Sunshine Pizza many times over the years but I've seen a steady decline and my recent experience will be the last time I go in. I usually go for salad or a sandwich - this time just salad bar. I've seen it like this before but this time was the worst.... More
