I'll get the biggest negative out first and then concentrate on our dining experience. As tourists we checked reviews of Andaluz on Trip Advisor and then went to the restaurant website to look at the menu offerings. We were enticed by several selections including roasted Brussels-sprouts and also an entree of Paella. Upon arrival the printed menu had neither and... More

Visting Salem staying at wonderful Best Western. I had planned on DaVinci's because it was very good last time. My wife says she's had too much Italian lately ( I have an infinite capacity for Italian food.) So I check the local newspaper online for some ideas... this is where we find Andaluz. We got there early enough for Happy... More

I haven't been disappointed in my many outings to Andaluz. There is no waiting space though so during certain dining hours, it can be tight to stand and wait for a table.

Wonderful assortment of some of my favorite tapas. Great textures across all of the dishes we tried. Tortilla Espanhola was not heavy; salmon cakes were sooo... fresh fluffy, and crunchy; the best I've had outside of Maryland. Fantastic flan and the freshest, airy churros I've ever had. Nice twists added to classic cocktails such as exotic bitters...; a joy to... More

Hubby and I had dined at Andaluz several times before and were always very pleased. We hadn't been in a while and decided that for our 26th Anniversary on Wednesday that it was the perfect choice for our evening. Got there close to opening 4:30-ish -Happy Hour!...And were the only patrons there. Wow - they had really jazzed up the... More

Andaluz is in the heart of downtown Salem among other restaurants and shops. It is small but great. We enjoyed several dishes! The Spanish tortilla is more like a quiche. The Potatoes Bravas are fabulous. The Cuban sandwich was really good. They are a fork-to-mouth restaurant, so they use local ingredients. The staff was friendly and helpful. It made for... More

I am simply updating my review of Andaluz since we dine here about monthly and my last review is several yrs old. I still love the old stand-bys...bacon-wrapped dates, chorizo croquettes, tortilla...and this time, there was a prosciutto nectarine situation with a Parmesan mouse??? The sangria seemed a bit sweeter than usual, but that didn't stop me from downing two... More

Hadn't been to Andaluz in awhile, but it's nice to see who I do come, its consistently delicious! Enjoyed the classic bacon wrapped dates, a lovely shrimp dish and a seasonal prosciutto peach with parmesan mousse that was so yummy! They have a great list of cocktails, but I always look forward to & enjoy a glass of either red or... More
