First things first, this is NOT in Seaside. It's 25 miles inland. We stopped at the Elderberry 5 years ago when we first bought a house in Gearhart. The lunch was stunningly bad... they even managed to make a grilled cheese sandwich w/ tomato soup...More

We typically stop at Camp 18 for breakfast or lunch on the way to or from the coast, but we decided to try the Elderberry Inn on our return from Cannon Beach. It's an older building, but we were greeted warmly and waited on immediately....More

All in all, a great experience because Camp 18 was closed, again...as is often the case. Eldeberry Inn was open and crowded and I think they may have been slightly understaffed, not expecting the closure of Camp 18. We sat in the lounge and were...More

Driving back from the coast we decided to bypass a more famous nearby restaurant because of repeated slow, bad service, and instead try The Elderberry Inn. We're glad we did!! Super friendly, good service and a great breakfast!!The bacon is about the best I've had....huge...More

Right off the interstate to/from the coast, the Elderberry is a sort of quirky throwback that is worth a visit. Driving from Cannon Beach and hungry we took a chance on this place and were glad we did. Comfortable, good service, very good comfort food...More
